I know Bassnectar has a dedicated base but wouldn’t acts like Pretty Lights, Rezz, and Odesza pull a similar crowd? I loved how this fest was dedicated to some obscure bookings, but I always thought they brought those guys in and people like Travis Scott to attract the different bases. It just was never overkill though which was great.

I feel everyone’s pain in here. God I loved that festival.
Saw all of this on the way to Houston on Friday, what a bummer!
I will never forget the amazing time I had at 2016 D4N, wish I coulda gone back. We had it all planned out to do this instead of a NYE run. Oh well. Can work on knocking off some CC debt now.

I must confess to having been a combination of inspired and envious as well as mystified and incredulous by the Day for Night programming. All of the allegations aside....knowing what I know about the financial challenges of producing a festival, I've never been able to imagine how it was all even possible. And, usually, when one can't figure out how the logistics of a festival could possibly work, it turns out that they don't. When it seems too good to be true, it often is...
