He should stop being inconsistent. He stated on multiple occasions that he likes longer games (more posts, 5way runoff instead of 4, etc), but then on other occasions would rather keep things “uncluttered”.
And Danbob, do you not recall Mafia 94? He pulled all sorts of shit as Mafia on a day 1 (fake reveal), then when he was somehow alive Day 2, he went MIA once I revealed. You and Kdogg were up hid ass that game, and it’s hard not to see parallels when, again this game, he does much of the same, pulls shit Day 1, then disappears Day 2 and becomes unhelpful, or continues to deflect / delay providing responses to questions.
ZIG are you serious? First, clutter does NOT equal longer. I do not like cluttered games. I do like longer, on point play. Discussing the meta game at length is clutter. This is not an inconsistency at all.
Re 94, yes, I faked inspector on day 1. It was the first time ever in Mafia and the only reason it worked is because you were incompetent. No, I did not disappear. I worked with the town whereas you became very combative. The only parallel here is that you are not being all that helpful, even though you are a town role.
I got what I needed on Day 1, and have answered questions where appropriate, but I still feel Zolah is mafia as fuck. Because I give actual information and data, people do tend to see similar trends.
I've already explained at length why I think Maddog is town, and same with Thor. I find it highly unlikely that 2 mafia members would be the first 2 votes on a single person on day 1. It is part of why your conclusions on this post are WAY off.
Basically, I would toss every one containing Thor. Then it just comes down to Where people stand on Maddog and I. You have had a stick up your ass since your 3rd post when I said I felt you leaned town. If that is why you kill me, that is pretty dumb, especially because I was eventually proven right. Additionally, consider that your poor play was so suspicious that the inspector had to ask what your roll was on Night 1. I appreciate that you are town, but you would really benefit from listening instead of just tunneling.
And before you say I do the same thing, there are 2 or 3 times when I have admitted I was wrong in thread and that someone else made a good point.

I am fine with this as long as we kill either Dan or Potent. I would say Potent over Dan at this point, but both are on my final list. I think we may win if we kill Zolah this round though.

I know I am town and ZIG is town. Given the votes, I am 95% on Thor as town. That left You, Dan, Potent, and Zolah in that order from least to most suspicious. (I moved Potent ahead of Dan). Reading the thread, I felt you leaned most town, so that left me the other 3 as the pool to kill in 3 4 5.

I didn’t see the Thor / Jaz voting connection until yesterday because I don’t own a computer and wasn’t able to look at the detailed voting in a spreadsheet until I got back to work yesterday. It was the first time I had a chance to do a better deep dive into the game.
Just please take 1 minute to consider these facts:
1 - You are the only cleared townie. This means you know LESS than everyone else. You are in the same position you were prior to the reveal, except now you are a pivot. Mafia will not come after you and town will not list you.
2 - You were cleared because you acted in a manner that the inspector felt was suspicious. Prior to that, he had publicly stated that he was more suspicious of other people, but just like several others, you moved to the top of the list by the end of Day 1. I wont say that this hurts us, because knowing both your and my role makes teasing out the mafia easier, but still, it would have helped if he guessed a 2nd mafia member.
3 - You were leaning town to me because of feel and flow early in the day and jumped on me for that, even though I was eventually proven right.
4 - Regardless of role, I say which way I feel in thread, both mafia and town. I also do it much earlier than most feel comfortable with. I am also very divisive. I do not expect people to do the same, but will not change how I play, because I feel it works. It works because I give people information to work with and because it allows people to punch holes in my theories.
5 - Just because people feel or lean the same way does not mean they are aligned. Winds of change sweep through the game quickly. Consider that more than 3 people were leaning the same way, meaning at least 1 townie (and if you count tainted, 2) all were in alignment.
Just consider the above, and consider a reread and maybe a reset in light of the above.
I think we need to kill Viking and Maddog on 3 and 4. If that doesn’t end the game, then I think Potent would be the day 5 option.

Please explain the Maddog thing to me. When typing #5, it gave me pause on him. If we accept that whacking Tainted served a dual purpose of shooting for inspector and misdirection, then either Thor or Maddog may be mafia.

You were inspector Pablo’s second Night 1 option, so you were hardly “nonsuspicious” either.
But I am curious, WLViking, you and I both “lean town” on Thor due to voting patterns. I also outlined voting patterns that make me “lean town” on Zolah. But you don’t seem to take that at all into consideration, instead would rather base your thoughts on her based on your fairly contrived arguments with her on a day 1.
You claim I need to do a reread, but I’ve already adjusted my thoughts on Danbob and author and narrowed options down considerably. You, on the other hand, have stuck with the Zolah and JR as Mafia crap now almost the entire game. Seems like you should also re-analyze.

Any thoughts beyond Pablo? I ask because I am leaning town on you due to voting patterns.
I really am at a loss. I don’t even know if JR was mafia or not. Either way, like I stated previously, I think the Tainted whack points to JR as mafia and/or acts as a misdirection whack to frame Danbob and Viking.
Based on that and the Pablo’s reveal, I’m looking at Potent, Zolah, and Maddog as my top suspects.
The rest is just feel.
I’m most suspicious of Potent and Maddog of the top suspects I listed. But Zolah very well could be mafia. I felt Viking’s attack on Zolah was completely overblown and misguided. I also felt like Zolah’s defense to the attack was reasonable and justified. But I really have nothing else to draw an opinion on re: Zolah.
