I understand how frustrating zig can be (see the game I was inspector) but he is a townie and we have to work together to win.

The thing is, he is so off-base, that they may not whack him. Normally, that is a terrible idea, but with his Messiah complex and how dumb he is, he won't take it for what it is. They could whack anyone who agreed with him even tangentially, and he would spin himself off this planet.

Rereading potent again, I am fine killing him. I will maintain my interest in Zolah for the cornucopia of reasons I have presented, but Potent is my 4th so I am ok with it.
i'm going to three stack potent if someone doesnt move to viking, just putting that out there now. he's been 0 help all game, and if he's town I highly doubt he's coming back and eureka'ing town to a win. if he's mafia it makes sense why he wouldn't feel the need to respond much at this point and to let things just play out. and assuming zig is the next whack, potent imo would be next.
at worst we have a 6-2 advantage right now. if potent is town, we still have 4-2 and it's doable. which is what happens if it's me anyway.
i have viking/dan, zolah, thor in order of suspicion. all have some tie in/distancing with jaz, and that's what I am more concerned with than guessing a 2nd and running with a guess of a guess as my 3rd.
So much for that Viking vote of yours...why not wait until a runoff to vote for Potent?
If the runoff ends up being me and potent why wait? I said if no one switches to viking. I imagine he won't vote for himself when no one else moves to zolah, and if they did I woul re evaluate. That would leave, what's looking like, potent at 3 me at 2 and him at 2. From there if no one moves to viking I would switch at that point. I'm trying to limit the amount of time youre in the game because you're wrong and not accepting it.

No. Because there is never a good reason to vote for a confirmed townie. You don't do the mafia's work for them, and we give up any advantage we may have in numbers. At the end of the day, this is a numbers game and we only get 3 strikes. It would be like swinging at an intentional walk pitch hoping your draw a fastball down the middle. I would not want to be the one swinging for that fastball and losing my pants on a curve ball.
I understand where you are coming from, but you are playing into the mafia's hands here. Just accept that he is a terrible player and ignore what he says, but don't let it prod you into bad play yourself.

If we kill Zig we only leave townies as the available whack. It would clear up a lot. Mafia self whacking at 5-2 would be suuuuper risky.
If we let Zig get whacked we lynch an unknown and get nothing from the whack.
Whacking the wrong player here both fucks us and gives us nothing new going forward.

Maddog, you have taken great pains to try and say you are not blindly following me this game and I appreciate that skepticism. Now would be a good time to at least take a look at what I have posted. Not asking you to blindly follow, but look the theories I have pulled together and at least look at it with an open mind.
FWIW, I play very differently than most and say what I feel. Thats why I said I lean town on you. I may be wrong, but I can lose being ok with that and that is as good as it gets as a townie in this game.

town falls into the same patterns over and over. 4 way day one, any more/less and it's immediately tabbed as mafia, everyone wants a 3 way the next round which has been proven in at least two games to allow mafia cover, trope, trope, trope.
if thor is whacked, awesome, let's me know for sure thor is 100% cleared. same for anyone. no one is 'basically' cleared town at this point.
ex. more than one person has suggested thor as mafia, more than one person has suggested zolah, more than one person dan, more than one person potent, more than one person viking, more than one person suggested me. having mafia whack the remainder would help clear up the combos more than voting off someone random and having it spun as "maybe x was/wasn't mafia" and making new combos based off that (see JR).
at this point i feel like its going to be harder to misdirect and a whack of zig provides nothing, if he doesnt get whacked thats a whole new can of worms and can be spun. potentially with someone crying 'fake inspector pablo'.

Zolah removing Potent from the runoff doesn’t sit well with me. Only reason people are voting for Viking is because he’s a dick.
Especially ZIG who doesn’t even think the Tainted whack means JR was mafia. ZIG, if JR wasn’t mafia, the Tainted whack is 100% misdirection clearly intended to frame Viking and Danbob. Sigh, yes they do. They have to kill ZIG, or make the call to potentially give more info, counting on ZIG to still be off the reservation. In the mean time, we have to sort out who is mafia and who is not. You can't let the mafia do that for us or we will lose.
Say we kill someone else and they leave ZIG alive. That gives additional info too. In the end, you have to make hard calls on who to trust. There is no easy way to victory where the mafia just leads you there.
