Yea, they've been hyping it and OH! Beware of their 100k+ stadium. Biggest crowd Clemson has ever played in front of. Be very afraid! Not buying it. A&M loses there all the time first of all. Just think of all of the schools with huge stadiums that haven't been good lately Tenn, Mich, Fla, Texas, Nebraska.
Agreed. Those home field advantages matter if the talent level is competitive. The talent level tonight is not competitive. Aside from that, there's always the chance of shocking upset surprise but that is every game ever.
Home field advantage also works when you regularly kickoff with temps 100+ even at night. Especially against northern/Midwestern teams. ASU has had October home games where temps are in the 90s. I think it was a big factor when we upset #4 Washington last year.
Edit: just saw a stat, we're 9-0 against the B1G at home.
rdk I saw your comment in the NFL thread. It's really weird to me that it's hard for Georgia to play in Columbia. Clemson owns that place. Maybe it has something to do with how early you play them? You should own them as well.
That has more to do with Spurrier out-coaching Richt despite usually having less talent (at SCe).
Also, any UT fans that watched Cade Mays today have to be sick.

Way too close. A&M was playing way over their heads for the whole 4th quarter. Clemson made plays when they had to. That might be the biggest challenge we have all year.
Can we name a player they've had since Bobby Boucher?
Yeah. Robert Alford for the Falcons is the most famous but also Harlan Miller a couple years ago. I went to school there. It should have been 24-7, but at least we covered the +34. Moral victory. :/
Was in Blacksburg yesterday for the home opener, ton of fun. Great environment after taking it to FSU on Labor Day, rain held off until the 4th.
Missed out on my pickem picks . Went out Thursday night, traveled back to VA on Friday night and was tailgating early yesterday. Little bummed to see UF's streak over UK come to an end. Also, didn't expect Clemson to get that much of a scare.

Lol.
Was a UF fan as a kid during the Spurrier years and was in high-school during the Tebow days. Going to a university 13 miles away from Virginia Tech while living in Blacksburg converted me to a Hokie fan.

Didn’t know we had any BBN around here.
Ah, ok. That makes sense.
Yeah, I'm probably about the only one. Parents went there.
Caught the 4th quarter of the Beaver game at Nevada. Beavers look good in the running game and have a couple good receivers. Defense is still giving up a ton of points. Kicking game failed tonight.
Tonight should have been a winnable game. I think there's a chance against Arizona. This team may have a losing record this year, but it's a step in the right direction.

I quit watching when it was like 30-7 or something. Turned into a good game.
LSU-Auburn was a good one. SEC West is gonna be fun this season.
ASU-SDSu is shaping up to be a tight defensive battle.
