Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
My wife is a big Muse fan and always gets mad when I call them a poor man's Radiohead.
I think their overall catalog is much better than the killers', and having seen both, I think their live show blows the killers out of the water.
Is Muse enough to sell your wife on you guys heading back to the farm? For some reason, Em and Muse is appealing to my wife and she is open to going. But I just get really disappointed every time I look at the line up.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
My sophomore year, I was talking to a very pretentious architecture freshman who was a big fan of Muse. I distinctly remember him saying something along the lines of "you know, some people don't like Muse, because they don't get it. You actually have to be smart to enjoy their music."
So there’s like two people here saying bad things about Muse at this point. Might as well side with the majority on this one, guys.
Muse are a fun show. The Killers are also a fun show. Neither goes much beyond that for me, but I don't think anyone will leave either set disappointed

Nah. She actually thought I was joking when I said the killers we're headlining. Bonnaroo is a hard sell for her in general these days, especially being out of driving distance. And she got really annoyed by all the kids and their EDMs.
Can confirm this was the opposite of boring. Meanwhile Brandon Flowers and company are playing lengthy sets of music no one really cares for while flying on a broken wing. Muse was the most consistent 3-piece, hard rock act of the 00’s imo. Despite lackluster later releases they have remained tight. They have higher highs that I wouldn’t necessarily consider corny.

I have been really enjoying Alex Lahey and Pond, two names I’ve seen talked about on Inforoo a lot but hadn’t listened to much prior to the Roo lineup dropping. This Alex Lahey album is awesome.
I truly can’t stop listing to I Love You Like A Brother, I keep trying to listen to something else but keep coming right back to it! Sooo good.

The crowd at MSG last week would disagree with this assertion. People were way more hyped than I expected. And there are plenty of people who don't care for Muse's music either. If you hate The Killers' music, seeing them live won't change that. If you hate Muse's music, seeing them live won't change that. But both bands give their all on stage.
Can't take a guy seriously who plays this instrument though:

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

I just saw The Killers for the third time tonight and it was certainly the best of all three times. Their production is much, much better than the last tours (should work in a festival setting) and their new songs translate really well live. Them being at Roo was pretty much inevitable, but they at least chose the right tour to do it.

Looks like this is the reason SZA won't be at Bonnaroo. But this tour looks amazing. I've been hoping for a while they'd do a tour like this.
There are a lot of former Bonnaroo acts already announced as playing Buffalo this June (Dead & Co, DMB, Zac Brown, Head & The Heart, Nathaniel Rateliff, Kendrick). Maybe I won't be too sad skipping after all.
