I still dream for a 4th Headline act, I don't care who it is at this point. Will see what happens , Dead & Co also have an off day for Roo despite them closing the fest just 2 summers ago it wouldn't be terrible for them to come out again. Who are the front runners?

People say it every year, but I will say that this year is noticeably bare bones at the top. Future at 4 is too high as are The Killers at 2 (even Firefly kept them out of the top 3).
But yeah we aren’t getting anything more at the top lol

I think the billing is just wonky overall. I'm sort of surprised Bon Iver is not fourth, especially being billed as two sets. I have a feeling the poster would look better to us if Bon Iver was at the end of the first line instead of the second. Obviously wouldn't really change the lineup, but I think it would have a psychological effect. There are a few other smaller examples like that, too.
I was not surprised by Future at #4, though. They've had a rapper in that spot since 2015 now, and he's pretty huge. I've been putting him fourth on mocks for a couple years now.

I guess only time will tell, I still see two open slots at top of lineup but we shall see!
I hope you are both wrong.
Those aren't "slots" at the top, they're just lines to fill in the space. There are only 3 names at the top because Bonnaroo has 3 headliners. You're only going to be let down if you let yourself get your hopes up for added headliners.

They certainly have no respect for us if they are going to put Dua quacking Lipa anywhere near the top, I remember she was a shitty Roo clue last year, can't believe they booked her back to back, the ultimate stab next to cutting the legacy rock headliner act. Dead & Co have a spot open on their dates in June weekend of Roo maybe we can at least get them back.
If I didn't buy presale and already have a first time roovian I've been pumping up for years already committed along with my usual squad there is no way in hell I would buy this lineup for the $300 per I paid all-in presale. There is nobody on the Roo lineup other than Muse that is really anywhere near exclusive other than Chic and Bon Iver's 2 Sets, there is no huge draw to go to Roo this year aside from the people, the times, and the experience.
Bunbury announces lineup very soon, I am pumped about that one at least, seems like they could have some good stuff in the works.
Our current notable additions for Bunbury
Black Pistol Fire

Why is everybody so insistent that there are no acts coming to the top? Do you work for the booking company ?
There are 2 lines at the top of the bill, I don't see too many fests release a lineup with lines in the top that don't plan on revealing something else.
Seems like the ultimate scam and I am already bought in!

Why would bonnaroo not release all their headliners? What would that gain for them?
Also when has roo ever added two headliners to a fully released lineup? You don’t have to work for the booking company, you just have to have common sense.

Yeah. I suppose anything is possible, but not so possible it's worth talking about.
Definitely not worth expecting or getting your hopes up for. They already have a good number of acts for the top few lines. Rearranging them makes that a little more apparent to me. They have several acts that draw up there. I'm not counting on them adding more just because many of the ones they have don't interest me.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

I don’t think you understand the size and overall value of Roo vs Bunbury as a fest. Last time Jack Played Roo he was 2nd and if he we’re booked again it would be in the same place, every one in the top lines like Blink, Foster, Incubus, Young the Giant and other acts would be billed a lot lower on Roos lineup than where they billed on Bunburys. For instance there are 56 actss on Roos lineup that are in front of Sir Sly while at Bunbury he is billed 23rd, 23rd on Roo lineup is STS9. Big difference. Third Eye Blind is their 10th name, where at Roo two years ago they were billed 50th. See the difference?
Bunbury just dropped the best lineup for a 3 day fest that I've seen yet for half the cost.
Glad this is the weekend before Roo but how in the world did Roo miss out on these bookings?
Are you serious ?
For $200 it’s a pretty solid lineup. I have several friends I’m cinci and it’s a 3 hour drive. I’m doing this for a festival on the cheap this year. There’s more than enough there to justify $200 and spending money since I got a free place to stay.

I went a little further with the lineup rearranging. I'll reformat when we hit page 26, but here's what I've got:
Eminem - Muse - The Killers - Bon Iver (2 Unique Sets) Future - Bassnectar - Sheryl Crow - Sturgill Simpson - Paramore - Alt-J Kaskade - Anderson Paak. and the Free Nationals - Khalid - Sylvan Esso Chic feat. Nile Rodgers - Virtual Self - Chromeo - STS9 - Rebelution Broken Social Scene - The Revivalists - Rufus du Sol - Moon Taxi - Alison Wonderland Superjam - Dua Lipa - Brockhampton - Old Crow Medicine Show - Carnage Grand Ole Opry - Playboi Carti - Jungle - The Glitch Mob - What So Not Rag 'n' Bone Man - First Aid Kit - Manchester Orchestra - Tash Sultana T-Pain - Thundercat - St Paul and the Broken Bones - Japanese Breakfast Mavis Staples - Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue - Brothers Osborne - Pond
Interesting find tho, Lynyrd Skynyrd announces farewell tour with no TN dates and wide open schedule during Roo Dates. What are the odds they are the legacy rock act/headliner up at the top?
