Could someone please leak Panorama's lineup or something so I can get this bad taste out of my mouth? I was really hoping to go to Roo this year, but really the only acts I'd be excited for that I haven't already seen and aren't playing at nearer fests are Muse, Anderson .paak, and Chic. I don't think that's enough for me.

Are you going to BC?
I really want to, BC had me at The National/Tyler the Creator. This year my girlfriend isn't sold on the lineup though like she was last year, and we're probably only going to do one fest this year. So we'll see.

Hip Hop and EDM are horribly represented this year. Late Night STS9 and Kaskade is been there done that (like half this lineup tends to be nowadays). C-
It pains me how little it would have taken to give this lineup a significant boost. Just replace two or three acts with better quality ones, and I'd totally be there.

I'm legit excited for: Muse / Sturgill / Bon Iver (damn it this is a great booking and I just wish it wasn't an anomaly) / .Paak / Sylvan Esso / Chic / STS9 / BROCKHAMPTON / Broken Social Scene / Manchester Orchestra / Trombone Shorty / St. Paul / Thundercat / Moses Sumney / Pond
I'm definitely down to see: The Killers / Khalid / Alt-J / The Revivalists / Virtual Self / Rufus / Moon Taxi / OCMS / First Aid Kit / Jungle / Tash Sultana / T-Pain (screw it I'm gonna have a good time lol) / Daniel Caesar / Kali Uchis / Mavis / Sir Sly / Denzel Curry / Japanese Breakfast / Pigeons PPP / Alex Lahey / Knox Fortune / Ron Gallo / Everything Everything
& I would also probably see (barring conflict): Eminem (lol there won't be a conflict) / Paramore / Dua Lipa / Sheryl Crow / Rebelution / Chromeo / The Glitch Mob / LANY / Big Wild / Lissie / Blank Range / DREAMERS
That's 15 acts I'm excited for, another 23 that I'm decently happy with, and 12 that I'm fine with seeing (at first glance).
I'd imagine that'll make for a pretty full weekend, but I suppose we'll see how scheduling shakes out. I'm definitely also going to SK, tho.
Bonnaroo '15/'16/'17/'18/'19 - ACL '13/'14/'15/'17/'18 - Fun Fun Fun '14 - SXSW '13/'14/'15 - FPSF '16
2019 Shows: 4/30 - Vampire Weekend 6/28 - Father John Misty & Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit 9/6 - Cardi B w/ Teyana Taylor 9/28 - Vulfpeck w/ The Fearless Flyers
Every year the lineup gets worse. Went to 7 Roos in a row and missed the last three. This will be the fourth. Muse is one of the great audio/visual acts though so that is a very nice get along with Bon Iver's two sets but the rest of this lineup is so Meh. Just looking at the bottom half of the list, I recognize absolutely no one. In past years, I would know over half of the smaller acts and listen to them regularly.

Fucking awful. Anyone associated with Bonnaroo should be fucking ashamed of themselves. What an amazing festival it was in the 2000s. Fuck. Just please host smaller fests their in the offseason.

For those attending, be safe, take care of each other, and have a great fest.
For those disappointed, a reminder to do some research on smaller and more focused fests. For every broad genre of music there is a festival that will do a better job of representing the talent in that genre than any of the behemoth multi-genre festivals. Express your preference for these better lineups with your money and time.
I think I like this better than 2016 and 2017. That being said, I can’t justify a 20 hour drive to Tennessee for a lineup I can see at a cheaper festival.
Over all I'm fine with this, there's definitely enough for me to enjoy but it's nothing mind-blowing.
Must see: both Bon Iver sets, Sturgill, Anderson Paak, Chic, Brockhampton, Broken Social Scene, Jungle, Thundercat, Moses Sumney, Japanese Breakfast, Everything Everything, Alex Lahey, Pond
Will probably see: Muse, Future, Alt-J, Sylvan Esso, Rufus, Chromeo, STS9, Playboi Carti, T-Pain, Manchester Orchestra, Trombone Shorty, Daniel Caeser, St, Paul, Mavis, Denzel Curry, Ron Gallo, Post Animal, Topaz Jones
Might Check out: Eminem, Killers, Bassnectar, Khalid, Paramore (heard the new album was decent), Revivalists, Virtual Self, Moon Taxi, OCMS, Rich Brian, Kali Uchis, Snakehips, PPPP
This is so much better than last year. Maybe slightly worse than 2016 and obviously still far worse than 15 and prior.
Eh, I'd say 2016 was pretty bad save for the Top 3. I had a good time, but it was rough. Just hoping this year doesn't end up with loads of conflicts between the best undercard acts (it's gonna happen).

Not happy about the headliners (I skipped two of them at Lolla last year), but I definitely like this more than the last two years. I have friends that live on both coasts who said they'd go back to Roo this year, and if they did AND the Lolla lineup isn't good I'd go if I got a cheap ticket.
I just posted this in the headliner thread, but it seems I've figured out why it feels like such a huge chunk of the lineup is made up of relative unknowns. Instead of introducing all the club stage acts as 'artist additions', it looks like they've included them in the initial reveal. Last year's original lineup release included just over 100 acts. This year's has nearly 150.

The more I look at this lineup - the more it looks like a JJ Abrams derivative interpretation of an old Bonnaroo lineup. Like there are parts of it that kind of feel correct on tone, yet there is nothing at all exciting or in anyway forward thinking. Super bland stale headliners with a smattering of folk, reggae and roots rock. Bonnaroo formula but done cheaper and worse.

LCD, Tame, Bob Moses, M83, Pearl Jam, The Dead, Cymande, Dungen, Death Cab, FIDLAR, Ween, Vince Staples, Kamasi Washington, Lizzo, Charles Bradley, Band of Horses, Natalie Prass, Father John Misty, Lane 8... I actually thought 16 was significantly better than 2017.
I think Roo peaked with 13 and 14 then dropped due to headliners and a little less beef in the middle in 15, then fell from grace in 16 to just simply be on par with Lolla and ACL, then last year it moved into complete joke territory.
