Thursday - Justin Jay Friday - Muse, Sturgill, Rufus, Chromeo, Manchester Orchestra, Shiba Shan, T-Pain, Japanese Breakfast, Everything Everything Saturday - Eminem, Bon Iver, Anderson Paak, Sylvan Esso, Chic, BROCKHAMPTON, First Aid Kit, Moses Sumney, Pond Sunday - Future, Alt-J, Alison Wonderland, Broken Social Scene, Jungle, Thundercat, Sir Sly, Amadou & Mariam, Gogo Penguin, Mija, Ikebe Skakedown
I'm honestly surprised by how many acts here I would see. Thursday is rough, but I could make due the rest of the weekend. My biggest issue here is the acts that get me the most excited are ones I've seen a lot. I would be settling for a lot of the other acts.

Bonnaroo dropped their day by day announcement on Reddit first. They definitely have a hard on for Reddit.
Makes sense from bonnaroo’s point of view. It’s pretty much free advertising to a large base of faithful attendees.
It also seems like they'll take actual posts from Reddit, change a few things and then post it on their social media. Like someone might post Anderson .Paak's Tiny Desk concert on Reddit. Shortly after Bonnaroo's social media is posting the same thing.
Trying to make a mock ... there will almost definitely be a couple of adds for Friday. There straight up aren't enough acts to fill up everything when you include the club stages.

Wonder if one of the (if there are multiple) Superjams will focus on Grateful Dead tunes following the passing of John Perry Barlow. Probably not, but it's something I would have liked if I were going.

6 of the top 13 acts are on Friday. I thought all 3 of Sturgill, Khalid, and Paramore would either subheadline on What or close Which, so I'm curious what they do with that. I guess Paramore is probably playing earlier.

Yeah I'm thinking Paramore > Sturgill > Muse with Khalid closing the Which makes the most sense.

Nah. They have consistently failed to seize on those kinds of theme opportunities.
Wouldn't it make the most sense for Bon Iver to do two sets back to back on the What Stage? One while the sun is going down and one in the 8:45-10:00pm timeslot (So like 6:45-8:00, then 8:45-10:00). That seems like it would logistically work the best. Anderson.Paak closes the Which Stage, Kaskade is late night Which, and Glitch Mob or somebody else closes The Other

I think we just want to believe they'll actually give Bon Iver a late night set.

Beat me to it. Prediction for 2018 is "The Sweet Soul Sounds of Delaware".

Your scenario is also very possible
I mean if his second set is completely in the dark I don't think it really matters. I'd rather it be on the What Stage anyways.
Edit: I also think if Tame Impala was pre-headling on the What Stage it would have been a better show.

I agree. It's just odd. They're 5th for Friday but (correctly) billed higher than the 3rd acts of both Saturday and Sunday, yet they're going to be stuck with the worst time slot. Unless Khalid gets LN Which with Bassnectar LN What.

If this were to happen, I feel like Nile Rodgers would move into the LN Which position. Without Kaskade, the biggest act that could close out The Other is Glitch Mob, and while they'd be good for that slot imo, I also don't think they're quite big enough of a name for it. Big Gigantic and Marshmello filled those slots last year, and were both in the top 5 on their respective days - Glitch Mob isn't even top 10 on Saturday.

At least this year there's a lot more non-music related stuff to make Thursday not so slow.
After seeing the daily lineups I can see 3 bands on Thursday . It also leaves me Thursday to relax and explore the new barns and stuff. Have 2 friends who will be Roo 1st timers so this will allow exploring for them too.

Yeah I thought about that, but if Glitch Mob goes conflicted with other acts I don't think it's a huge deal. I don't really see Nile Rodgers getting LN Which.

That's the thing. If they follow last year's mold, the Other closer won't play conflicted. Only way it would be conflicted is if they put STS9 in a long LN slot.
I don't see it either - part of why I'm pretty sure Bon Iver will play LN Which.
Side note: Whose more likely to close a tent - Rebelution or Nile Rodgers? I think the answer's Nile Rodgers, which suggests some pretty shitty conflicts headed our way.

STS9 could easily play where Umphrey's played last year (1:30-3:00). There's also the Kalliope and Barns (lol)
