Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
i would see: muse, killers, future (saw bits and pieces at acl while the astros were playing one year), sturgil (seen), bon (seeing in jan), bon (see prior), sheryl crow, esso (seeing in march/seen), chic, rufus, sts9 (really the act id be most excited about), BH, bss (seeing in march), first aid kit, caesar i guess, thundercat (seen), mavis staples, moses sumney (probably the 2nd most exciting), breakfast, space jesus, bayonne (seen), pond (seeing soon), alex lahey, post animal (seen, but they were fun w/wo the dude from stranger things)
I didn't even think about the police situation over there... I got into a huge agreement with the horsey dudes a couple of years ago because they wanted to search our group because supposedly I was walking down the isle selling mushrooms. Complete fabrication. Took me an hour of stone walling and asking for actual cops before they went away. Surrounded or whole site with those red shirted horsey rent a cops. Finally an actual Bonnaroo guard came by and told them to leave us alone. The next year they chased some guy through our camp, lost him and said that he was hiding in our tents.
So much for vibes. Roo is a police state, maaaaaaan
Found this guy towards the bottom of the poster, digging this song:
So you must not have known him. He heads (as guitarist and singer) his garage rock 3 piece. He has been known to skate on stage and play his fretboard using those skate trucks as a slide. Haha. Definitely not bad live and I think better than what Car Seat Headrest is doing. Sort of them meets Ramones if they aren't on glue. He closed with a decent version of Helter Skelter by the Beatles when I saw him. I'd see him again. There was a bit of nerdy sardonic moments and humorous stuff along the lines of Napoleon Dynamite.
When I saw him at Gov Ball this past year he shredded with a traffic cone. like a 3 ft tall one as well
The SO doesn't wanna miss another year so I guess we're coming back, anyone know anything about the lebon tents?
The biggest downside is the cost. You won't want to hang out at your tent much, but you're close to Centeroo so you can just hang out there. That's what I've heard.
waka flocka flame did a ton of festivals last year, t-pain is doing a ton of festivals this year, is the ringtone rap king soulja boy up to bat next year?
Just because you didn't show up in time for A Place To Bury Strangers.
Sounds like a show where you'd have to wear a shirt, which just doesn't work for me.
Also, this page has some neato stuff... www.bonnaroo.com/experience/camping-plazas/ I went in to GA for the first time in several years last year and was blown away by how different it was from the old days. I watched the hockey game in the Grove and it was a lot of fun.

They opened for Black Angels. You were there for them.
Even though last year's lineup was ass, I didn't mind it because it was a very easy thing to say no to, even though it felt weird not going. But this year, the lineup is just bumming me out. There are a couple things that genuinely excite me, a handful of acts that I like but have seen before, and the rest of the lineup I'm either not interested in or haven't heard of. It wouldn't be too hard for me to say no (especially considering it doesn't look like any of my usual Roo group is going), but there's a lot of stuff my girlfriend wants to see, so she wants to go to Roo, whereas that's how I feel about Boston Calling...which she is disinterested in this year. So figuring out our fest plans for the year is just kinda bumming us out, since so far there's no fest that both of us are jointly interested in. I'm not used to the lineup drop making me feel this way. =( So I'm really hoping Panorama or even Firefly has a lineup that excite both of us. Just needed to vent, thanks for listening.

I have never been to any festival anywhere and walked away thinking I had a bad time. Whether you guys choose Roo, BC, or whatever I am sure its going to be a blast and nothing that youll be bummed over. Hope yall figure it out.

I understand if someone's not an Eminem fan, but it's really weird seeing so many reactions on social media from people thinking that Em isn't popular or relevant anymore. I legit saw a comment suggesting that he shouldn't be in the top 6. Eminem can release 3 more shitty albums and still debut at #1 and sell out stadiums on every cycle.

You aren't alone here bud. There is one or two things on almost every line that catch my attention, and 5 or so "moment shows" I feel foolish to pass up. With that in mind, my lady friend is in a similar boat in that there are several eye catchers but not enough overall to sway us in that direction. We passed on D4N this year, though I think thats where we will invest for 2018.

Hope to see you there! DfN is pretty high on my list for this year, but that one'll almost certainly be a solo trip for me haha.

Yeah I'm pretty much in the same boat. Bon Iver came out of nowhere and I have no doubts those sets will be phenomenal. Then there are a couple others that will definitely benefit from the setting in a way a set at say Boston Calling just can't replicate. My thinking right now is that if the schedule turns out good enough I might try to put things together on the more last-minute end. i'm expecting they won't be, but if Anderson Paak or Pond are late night, that'd be a big incentive.
Speaking of which, the amount of you who are just now discovering Pond is surprising
