Dua Lipa's music is not bad, just her placement on this poster
I was surprised by it too. Didn't realize she was that popular. But apparently she is. Check out her stream numbers.
Yeah, it makes a lot more sense for her to be where she is on the 2018 lineup than where she was in 2017. Only listened to her a couple of months ago and was wondering why someone would be playing an early afternoon tent set when they have 3/4 of a billion it's just about 900 million now views on Youtube.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Him and Kendrick have both named Em as a major influence.
for sure, but they haven’t done a song together yet, so idk what they’d perform, if he did show up.. Probably just No Problems and Mixtape or something similar to when he popped up for J. Cole.
The SO doesn't wanna miss another year so I guess we're coming back, anyone know anything about the lebon tents?
The biggest downside is the cost. You won't want to hang out at your tent much, but you're close to Centeroo so you can just hang out there. That's what I've heard.
You can get closer to Centeroo for free in Tent Only.
Well folks, this looks look lineup is not worth the expense nor time for us to drive from Denver...We will be using our concert funds to see more red rocks shows (better venue anyway) this summer. Very disappointed because we really had hoped to make it... my guess is they’ll see a huge drop in those willing to shell out big coin for VIP, but on a good note those that do won't have to fight crowds lol

The problem is they don’t shade the tents, making the AC useless. We slept with everything wide open, but mid day couldn’t sit inside. Awful waste of coin!
Even though last year's lineup was ass, I didn't mind it because it was a very easy thing to say no to, even though it felt weird not going. But this year, the lineup is just bumming me out. There are a couple things that genuinely excite me, a handful of acts that I like but have seen before, and the rest of the lineup I'm either not interested in or haven't heard of. It wouldn't be too hard for me to say no (especially considering it doesn't look like any of my usual Roo group is going), but there's a lot of stuff my girlfriend wants to see, so she wants to go to Roo, whereas that's how I feel about Boston Calling...which she is disinterested in this year. So figuring out our fest plans for the year is just kinda bumming us out, since so far there's no fest that both of us are jointly interested in. I'm not used to the lineup drop making me feel this way. =( So I'm really hoping Panorama or even Firefly has a lineup that excite both of us. Just needed to vent, thanks for listening.
Yeah I'm pretty much in the same boat. Bon Iver came out of nowhere and I have no doubts those sets will be phenomenal. Then there are a couple others that will definitely benefit from the setting in a way a set at say Boston Calling just can't replicate. My thinking right now is that if the schedule turns out good enough I might try to put things together on the more last-minute end. i'm expecting they won't be, but if Anderson Paak or Pond are late night, that'd be a big incentive.
Speaking of which, the amount of you who are just now discovering Pond is surprising
A Pond late night show would be awesome, but I don't think they'd ever put a band late night that is that low on the lineup. Speaking of, how are they not like 5 lines higher?
Hoping to see Sylvan Esso, Jungle, and Brockhampton scheduled for late night. If it's almost exclusively EDM (and Kalliope) then that's a big blow.

I think best case scenario for Pond is they get an 11pm or midnight slot on Thursday.

Not looking at the luxury ones, just the 4 person with the cots and power hookup. Was thinking about bringing an EZ up as well.
