I'd say Bon Iver will be one of the Which closer's too with his 2 set deal
I’m not sure what to think of the Bon Iver billing. The wording of “two unique sets” makes me think that it could be two shows. But typically “two sets” just means it’s a 2.5-3 hour set time with 2 full sets in that given time. Them word unique being in there is what gives me pause.

I'm picturing:
Friday What: Future > Eminem Which: Sturgill Simpson > Bassnectar late night
Saturday What: Bon Iver > The Killers Which: Alt J > Bon Iver set 2 late night
Sunday What: Sheryl Crow > Muse Which: Dua Lipa
But I guess it would be surprising if Kaskade wasn't a Which late night. What are the chances they bring back the What stage light night and put either Bassnectar/Kaskade/Bon Iver on it?

Bon Iver definitely doesn't seem like the kind of artist to play a super long two-set show. That seems like the far more out of character and implausible option of the two

Only issue with Bon Iver late night is sound bleed from other tents

Very true....which is why I'd love if they gave him one of their rare What late night shows.
Congratulations Bonnaroo on literally being the last music festival on earth to book both The Killers and Muse. Such EXCITING choices of headliners in 2018. What would we do without our C3 gods. RADIATE POSITIVITY!

Wow. You guys really fucking hated last year's lineup, huh? All I've seen is people saying this is better, some saying by miles.
I wish I felt that way. Then I might want to go. The biggest problem I have is that the first and third lines are an absolute wasteland for me. There really isn't a single act that I am excited about, and only one which I'd see at their own show. That act would be Muse, who I don't really even think are very good, but I've heard it's a good show. Thing is, they're one of those that you'd probably be better off seeing at their own thing because of their massive production values.
Talk shit about last year all you want, but getting U2 playing Joshua Tree on their first US festival appearance since the eighties is light years ahead of any of the headliners here. Even if you don't like U2, I think you gotta respect it. Problem is, no one actually cared, so what do I know. I had a pretty great Thursday and Friday last year, Saturday was thin, (especially after FI vs MK and Warpaint vs Chance) and Sunday was, like, fine. Would have been better if Lorde wasn't on late and I could have seen BBNG.
I'll echo what Jaz said about this lineup being very frustrating, because it's about 10-15% great stuff with the rest being mediocre or complete trash. I'd fuck with that second line, but like I said: it's sandwiched between a bunch of stuff I don't care about. That's pretty much a microcosm of the lineup overall.
Ultimately, I still have some hope that the schedule lines up perfectly and I can make a good weekend of it. I just love Bonnaroo so much. But it's looking like SK and hopefully something in Europe for me in 2018. I guess I was just hoping it would be good enough to justify over SK, because there was never a chance in hell it would measure up to Mad Cool or other eurofests. I'd put it at like 25% that I'm going as of right now.
