Think Florence + the Machine is a layup headliner for this next year. Huge crowd in '15, definite push for more female top spots at Coachella/Pano this year, deserves the spot, major draw, etc etc
Think Kanye's return show also makes a lot of sense, essentially with new music.
Pair those two and you're starting a nice stew. I can see Kanye/AM/Flo HL, subs of Alabama Shakes, Disclosure, and the 1975.
He literally just released an album three days ago.
Yeah but there's no way Coachella would book a headliner a year after they've saturated the market with their dud of an album unless they've got something new planned.
In which case the booking would actually be pretty genius

Coachella also booked Eminem, who has been releasing progressively worse music for the past fifteen years and is the opposite of an exclusive. I can't see them telling JT to go fuck himself over MOTW. If anything, a year later everyone will probably pretty much forget how bad the album was and want to see him more.

I think a JT booking would be significantly worse than any of the headliner bookings this year

Imo it would be better than two, but that's subjective. I don't think Timberlake is going to be playing every festival like those two guys, either.

Yeah they're skipping the big markets they already played in summer 2017. They have a gap for ACL and ending the big two year tour at Coachella seems like it would make a lot of sense. Probably the best chance for them to play Coachella ever given they will most likely be off the road for at least a couple years and who knows what could happen by then, so if there's any mutual interest from GV (Metallica have expressed interest), I'd bet they get it done (or have it done already).
Yeah I was really looking forward to the tour and when I saw there was no Chicago date, it put a bit of a damper on my morning. There are dates in Indy and Wisconsin but they're not on Saturdays so taking time off work to travel for the shows is a little less appealing. Would love if they were at Coachella though.
