Only got Wolves which was fine, got a LOT of the S/T, no Woods, got the only cover of the weekend with a Leon Russell song. Ending the main set with deathbreast and over soon was nice. Opening with Perth was also nice. The lights were something else.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Does anyone expect 2 sets in a row, similar to Dead & Co?
I personally don't. Especially since he isn't really the type to play for essentially 3 hours straight.
If it were indeed the case, I'd suspect he 'headlines' the Which and then also plays a LN set on the Which. So even then the sets wouldn't be directly back to back, as there'd be a huge gap between them. But I think it's more likely he has a what pre-HL set and a Which LN set on separate nights.

Pretty much confirming what we've speculated - one set is gonna be all of 22 A Million. Second set full of "surprises."
I already saw him play the new album in full at the hollywood bowl, so if I have to skip a set I hope that's the one.
I wouldn't give "us" credit for speculating that at all. I think the general guess here was that he would do a normal set and a set of For Emma in full.

Yeah, so we were actually off lmao. Though really his normal set is basically 22 A Million in full with other songs sprinkled in. So we could technically still be right. It would just be cool if they could somehow indicate which set will be 'special', though I have my doubts that they would do that.
Someone should've asked what stage(s) he's gonna play damn it.

Last night in London, Bon Iver played two ~45 min sets, as well as an encore. Not entirely sure how long the gap was in between. But I’d imagine the show as a whole was roughly two hours long.
First set was 22, AM in full (which is allegedly what he’s doing for one of the Roo sets) and second just had a mix of great stuff. This actually is looking like a very real possibility for how things will work out at Roo.

Ashley Capps was asked on a podcast what the two Bon Iver sets will be. He said one will be a "Bon Iver concert" and the other will be a surprise. At the moment they don't really even know what he's planning but they trust him. Unfortunately he didn't say how it'll be scheduled.

Yeahhh at this point I’m back to thinking it’s going to be two separate sets on the Which. As opposed to a single large block of time with two ~45 min sets & a small intermission.

"Participants will experience an evening curated entirely by Vernon and Carey’s “musical, culinary, and cultural sensibilities from beginning to end.” Each package includes a six-course dinner, access to live performances by Vernon and Carey, a morning “Vinyl Vinyasa” yoga session, and more."
I feel like people doing this don't need to get on a soapbox about awards shows being fake, and suggesting that your way is the right way.

Ya. Fuck these guys for trying to find creative ways to reinvest in their hometown.
Well that was the right way to start my morning. Quacking envious of everyone at this shows.
This collaboration officially premieres in St. Paul in April. All those shows unfortunately sold out faster than hell and I wasn’t able to get a ticket. I’ll have to see if I can use some connections to still get a ticket, however, I’m hoping they do this at Eaux Claires in July and I can see it regardless.
