And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
I was thinking it might be fun to - once we get to this point - roll out each participant's UDFA lineup individually, one every couple of hours. It would give the drafter a chance to highlight some of the things that they're excited about and provide room for some general reaction, which is something we've talked about wanting to do more of here.
They'd all be locked in by that point so it's not like anybody could change their lineups at that point. It also might make it easier to catch any possible ineligible picks. (I would reveal them randomly.)
Is this a dumb idea? Does everyone just want to get on with it at this point rather than drag out the reveal by an extra day or two?
Yeah but they're not exclusive to you right when you reveal them? It's not like, if I were to announce Daft Punk that someone else would be like "hey man, I have them too on my line up" or something? And is it going too be in the order of the draft or just random? On another note, I was actually planning on revealing the Other (like Fred) and my Superjam! seperately so I'm all for it tbh..
Just to clarify: are superjams considered novelty sets? If so, then we should increase it. If it’s just so-and-so performing such-and-such album, then I think it’s fine as is.
I don’t really care one way or the other re: slow reveal.
Question re: the superjam, how many artists/different bands are playing the superjam normally? Ive like 7ish people in mind from 5/6 different bands/artists, is that to much or..? Because I'm scheduling one that takes 2h in time so I was thinking about having a lot of people playing it. Or is it just a bit vague and you'd say: "superjam!: 'title' ft ppl from this, that and that band" ?

Bonnaroo generally lists the acts playing the superjam and it can be quite a few people.

Legit as many as you want. I've seen like 20 people involved before, and now with the way they do superjams as basically a backing band and a different person popping out to sing one song...you can make your own rules

I don't believe so. Superjams don't count in your final count. So you can have 25 draft picks, 75 UDFAs, and 2 SJs

No, the reveal would be after all of the lineups were submitted.
