Well, these spinoff acts are off limits once one of their base artists are selected so nobody else can take them. It does cost a draft slot so it's basically just announcing an UDFA pick early. I'm tracking them below your lineups so that we don't lose track.
I am dumb and new to this, so I might have to re-read the rules and then I will send you a pm if I am still confused. That way I am not mucking up the thread with my dumb dumbness.
I cleared hot chip free agent with cdevaney before the selection. Also didn’t tЯist♡n dispute king t when he picked hot chip that they were mine? I’m confused here
You cleared that you would be the only one to have access to them.
So I wanted to get clarity on band drafts that block other bands from being selected like the example ruled on earlier with plantarium blocking the national. So if I drafted Galantis would that pick block others from drafting miike snow since they share a member?

Before we started, I was trying to get Maddog to draft Legend of the Seagullmen so that he'd have the drummer of Tool and lead guitarist of Mastodon, with the caveat that if someone else drafted APC he couldn't have Maynard and no one could have Tool, barring a trade.
If I draft Joe Goddard then you can't take Hot Chip as a free agent. If you want to guarantee Hot Chip you have to use a draft pick on it.
No if someone wants to guarantee I don’t take hot chip as a free agent then they need to use two draft picks. Once they used the first I’d just take hot chip on the next upcoming selection so not sure why this is a big hold up?

If someone else has a member of the band, no you can’t take them. This is not that hard to grasp.

No, they'd just need one member of the act for them to be completely off the board.
Again, I don't understand why people are rushing to announce their free agents. It's not gonna make any difference until the game is over.
i think we're all just desperate to see what our mocks are gonna look like when its all said and done
Then I think people should just do it on an excel sheet or something, like I'm doing. Pointless to share it here. Seeing, for example, Hot Chip and !!! is not gonna make an outstanding difference IMO.

this is how i felt when i kept telling Krisp that Chappelle + The Roots has happened within the past 3 years and he kept ignoring me and saying they hadn't
