I feel like Riot Fest would book The Cure again before ACL does. I'd think Metallica is more likely with their 2015 Lolla set, and their peculiar tour gap in early October. Also Kanye is starting to make some murmurs out there.

Kanye? Damn. I’d be there in a heartbeat. Don’t think they would have Yeezy, Gambino, and Scott in the top 5, but I could be wrong. That would be one hell of a lineup though.

Burt meh geetars?? Wur the ger ters??? 3 hip hop HL isn't too much of a stretch compared to last year with Chance, Hov, and Gorilla being very rap influenced.

it's one more than Lolla? it's really not that much more. if they're getting a different top 2 though, I'd expect the next 6 to be the same. Lorde makes sense, but she's also winding down the year + long tour at this point, so I could see her not doing it this year.

Lolla is 4 days so ACL should have two fewer headlining level acts. That mock has 9 acts that could be in the top 6.

I'm still living in 2013, where The National and Vampire Weekend were subs at ACL. I still don't feel they are headliner-worthy at one of the major festivals. But at Lolla this year, they are, so I suppose in C3's mind they're worthy, or just don't wanna pay for anymore Depeche Mode or The Cure level acts.
