I'll have to see what the lineups are for fests like Grandoozy, Meadows, and Sea.Hear.Now, but I'm seriously considering going to my first ACL this year.
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
I expect a good amount of crossover from Lolla. I could easily see Weeknd, Artic, National, Travis, Vampire, Odesza, Khalid with one bigger name that isn't Bruno. Jack probably out, I would be surprised at Migos with JMBYLA being a thing, but I think Chance did both last year so idk.
REM - Muse - Arctic Monkeys - Childish Gambino Travis Scott - Bassnectar - Vampire Weekend The National - Odesza - HAIM - Khalid - David Byrne Migos - Fleet Foxes - MGMT - Dua Lipa - Sylvan Esso
Hologram R.E.M.?
Lolla AMA dude said they tried to get them for this year but "it didn't work out." Which to me means REM is open to a comeback but Lolla just wasn't the right place for it. He also said "Someday it will happen." They've played ACL before and the band probably fucks with Austin as much as they do Chicago.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
