esteban, If you had to choose one place to have BBQ in Lockhart, which would you recommend? I might make it down there on Thursday or Monday.
I’d hit multiple. If Kreuz has prime rib, get a half pound of that. Then go down the road to Blacks and get some sausage. If they have either smoked pork loin (chops) or big ass flintstone beef ribs, get one of those. Both places are money as fuck. Smitys used to be up there but I haven’t been there in a few years. Also all locals told me to not bother with Chisholm Trail. I haven’t ever been so I can’t say one way or the other.
Everything youd ever want. Was just shockingly fun as if they didn't know this part of life was possible.
I bet they would have been ecstatic at 2014 or 2015 with some of those legacies. What were their favorite shows?
Bon Iver set 1, Nile Rodgers, Trombone Shorty, Mavis Staples
I bought their tickets because I hit a major bonus right before Roo. They didnt legit know anyone on the lineup outside of Nile and Mavis, but we got them into a couple artists and Trombone Shorty / Ikebe Shakedown etc didnt require preparation for them to enjoy.
But yes some of those older lineups would have been yuge for them.
Does ACL do live streaming? If so, is there a schedule anywhere?
Yeah. Red Bull TV (app and website) will have 3 channels going on it starting Friday. I’ll get their schedule at some point later this week when they release it.
Seen fjm twice (one was very meh), Hozier once, bh none.
I probably want to see fjm the most but he's really far from Paul. Probably going to go fjm > bh > Hozier > spot for Paul in that hr, with fjm and bh taking up the majority.
Hozier is meh live. Don’t see him if you don’t love his music because FJM and Brockhampton are amazing live
Disagree on this one. FJM and Brockhampton are great but Hozier is a very underrated guitarist and was great when I saw him.
Also, go see Byrne and The National you goof
