Can anyone fill me in on the detes of the Børns thing?
I heard that he was texting and messaging underage girls.
Ah. So basically the same shit Drake has been doing.
Edit: the accusation actually goes beyond that. He is alleged to have actually had sex with these women, at least one of whom he had been "grooming" since she was 16. Another alleged that he plied her with alcohol at his apartment and had sex with her. It's unclear how old she was.
^any festival that has that, can't have a man with any kind of allegations closing their event. ACL can afford to just have him play opposite david byrne at 4.
I'm more shocked that his team/label hasn't dropped the tour until things get settled. that generally seems to be the move.

In 2017, St. Vincent issued the critically-acclaimed album Masseduction. Today, St. Vincent announced the upcoming release of MassEducation through Loma Vista on October 12 featuring stripped-down renditions — just vocals and piano — of the songs from the 2017 LP recorded in collaboration with pianist Thomas Bartlett.
St. Vincent, a.k.a. Annie Clark, posted a letter explaining the idea behind the upcoming album. She describes MassEducation as “two dear friends playing songs together with the kind of secret understanding one can only get through endless nights in New York City.” Clark and Bartlett “neither rehearse nor spoke about how to approach any song, but rather, played two to three live takes, picked the best one, and trusted in the feeling of the moment.”
