Alt-J and Phantogram, with an opener sold out the Garden in 2015, so they're following the same formula this time.
Yeah, but it's not 2015 in terms of Alt-J or P.TM's popularity, I don't think. I dunno. I could totally be wrong! I mean, was that Alt-J show at Forest Hills in 2018 even sold out? I don't remember.
Don't believe it sold out but was a great show. That's the perfect spot for this tour in my opinion (not MSG)

In all the Gov Ball craziness this weekend I completely forgot to buy tickets to Parcels 11/19 show at Music Hall of Williamsburg. So if you see anyone selling a ticket...DM me? haha

one-two sentence reviews of the 4 shows i hit last week:
Conway - NYC oldhead heaven with mad guests, unreal to see how far the Griselda guys have come. Felt like a celebration. Gibbs - Was booked for a club appearance and did ten minutes. Venue called it a real show and that's some BS. Jason Isbell - Pier 17 is a killer venue, unsurprisingly great set from Isbell, perfect weather Osees - first time seeing them and man was that wild. Spent most of the set in the pit and my gf who i met back up with after the show in BK almost refused to get in the uber home with me due to how sweaty i was and i can't say i could blame her

My only complaint at Pier 17 is that alcohol is EXCESSIVELY expensive (even to someone who's lived in the city for 15 years). Sound can be a bit dicey on those piers depending on where you stand but otherwise, always had a decent experience there.

ha - i picked up the tab at the bar before so i got covered during the show and can't speak at all to that. my only complaint on sound (about in line with the side screens, roughly halfway back on stage left so closer to the water) was that it was a little bit quiet, but didn't take away from the show.
Anyone going to Primus tomorrow night and think that ticket prices on resale apps will drop? I really don’t wanna pay close to $200
I'm looking on Stubhub and it seems like there's plenty way lower than $200. did you have a specific section in mind? I see a good amount of tix ranging from $58 to $180

Yeah, I keep checking there too. I’d love orchestra for like $150 after service fees. But I know beggars can’t be choosers. I’m gonna keep checking tomorrow while at work. Worst case scenario I’ll get nosebleeds for $58

Both Music Hall of Williamsburg and Forest Hills Stadium have posted this image today:
As far as I can tell, that's the DFA logo. I'm trying to talk myself out of the idea that this means incoming LCD Soundsystem shows or the return of Despacio, so I'm not horribly disappointed when it turns out to be something else, entirely.

Probably some sort of DFA 20th anniversary celebration

Also I noticed, Brooklyn Steel's image of the logo is different than all the others, and [Brooklyn Steel] is emblazoned up top, so whatever it is, is likely going to be there I would guess.
Why would venues in other cities post a teaser for something happening only at Brooklyn Steel? Must be a tour of some kind whether it is LCD or DFA.
because other cities’ teaser says “only in Brooklyn”, whereas New York venues say “you are here”
I do think that is weird. I just don't think an LCD residency or a DFA party/parties at Brooklyn Steel is a big enough deal for venues around the country to post teasers.

could be more than just a residency, I don’t know. We’ll see soon I guess
