Is there a code that's shareable for the w.a.s.t.e. presale?
There was no code, you have to click the link in the email that The Smile sent announcing a vinyl release and the tour. It's got a whole lot of scrambly stuff so not really shareable but if you are on their email list then you should have gotten it (and there are still tix for FHS last I checked).

I got a pretty decent seat to The Smile pretty easily on AMEX presale this morning, although either the club style seats went really fast or were held out for some reason.

So my buddy met Danny Carey the other day and he let some interesting info slip. TOOL is going back on tour this fall. And NY might be their first stop. He wasn’t 100% sure whether or not it’s MSG or Barclays tho. But I guess stay tuned.

Surprisingly there's still plenty of tickets still available for that Fall Out Boy/Bring Me the Horizon show at Forest Hills. And here I thought the venue was too small.
Prices are pretty steep, but there's some decent upper bowl seats for $95 after fees.

A co-worker and I were talking about this summer's season at Forest Hills and she was complaining about the prices for that show, she's really into them but hasn't bitten yet because of that.

Yeah, Fall Out Boy tickets on the floor I understand being 3 figures but bowl being $200 + is a bit perplexing. That being said, both Fall Out Boy and Bring Me The Horizon are arena-level in NYC so I suppose that's why.

Also, the way Forest Hills has been tiering pricing and dicing up the ticket options is nuts, these days. I have no idea what "GA first come, first served" means. Is the idea that some people who bought tickets at that level won't get GA floor access if they don't get there early enough? Where will they go? Isn't the bowl reserved seating?

I think since this is being sold as a "festival" that's the deal. You want to buy GA Guaranteed Floor access as I imagine the rest will be first come first serve.

from what i can glean there will be only a certain amount of capacity available to non VIP/guaranteed GA tickets, then if you don't get on the floor you have the rest of the bowl to go to as you see fit, except for sections 401-701 which it says are the sections for the reserved tickets. kinda convoluted but it is what it is i guess. bought regular GA and will hope for the best

I'm not 100% sure either but I think it means that if floor is at capacity that they will have to sit in the blocks upstairs

I imagine that'll be toughest on Saturday - I could see the Phoebe stans turning out in force early in the day just to be sure they're on the floor.

I know I sound like a broken record complaining about ticket prices post Covid, but $120 to sit in the nosebleed for Boygenius? Give me a fucking break.

It's the only reason I'm not a wreck for having to miss that weekend of shows. I came on this forum a year ago with hopes of going to 'roo and other fests, and all I've been able to do are shows here and there. Prices are too high and my work pay is NOT matching inflation.
