After fees Jack White comes to $120 a ticket. Too rich for my blood, but I appreciate them actually putting the full price with fees included out there prior to the on sale.
The real question is is Jack White still popular enough to warrant this rigorous sign up system at a 2k capacity venue? He plays those pretty frequently on his regular tours (albeit not in NYC)
Good question. The answer is no. Jack's last tour sold horribly. He's not a huge draw anymore at normal prices, and i'm sure these will be $150+ or in that range.
They tell you up front.. It's $99.50 plus 17.01 in fees for a total of $117.51. That said, he still sold at least 10K for Barclays last time around so this is still considerably smaller.
11/28 Raveonettes (Copenhagen, Denmark) 12/4 Interpol 12/14 LCD Soundsystem 12/31 Billy Joel 1/25 The Killers (Las Vegas) 2/12 Jack White 2/25 Father John Misty 3/6 Inhaler 4/10 Franz Ferdinand 4/17 Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds 5/15 Amyl & the Sniffers 5/18 Fontaines D.C. 9/1 Oasis
They come out to be about $110-115 w/fees I believe. I don't think it'll be a SUPER hot ticket but still in demand.
Yea, don't get me wrong, he will definitely sell this show out in the request period. But I am 100% positive you will be able to find face value tickets a few days before the show.
There's only 3-4 days between finding out you have tix and the show so probably won't be a ton, unless you bought to scalp, in which case they might cancel the tix.

Just like Verified Fan, the AXS Request thing is supposed to weed out scalpers BEFORE they issue codes/tickets. So it's unlikely they cancel any orders after the fact.
First time at the Knockdown Center last night. Cool place but that wall next to the sound board really cuts the visibility for a lot of place. If you're not in front of the sound board you definitely don't have a great view which is odd given the place can probably fit 2-3k people.
this place is cool as fuck. so far nyc is 4/4 on venues ive been to but the fact that theyre playing black midi in the lounge area here makes it immediate 10/10

I'm in all for all three! Now the question is does this sell out quickly and, if so, will they add another night (2 day gap before the next date).
This is a must see for me! Definitely think the plan is to add a second night. Summerstage is a 5k venue, right? Last time Noel and Garbage came to town they both sold out Radio City (6k), so if they dont add another night this could be a fast sell out.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds/Garbage w/Metric @ Summerstage on 7/10
Do not threaten me with 2/3 of a good time.
Lol, I had the same 2/3rds thought, although Noel is not so bad... I should be in for this, Shirley's hip replacement recovery must be proceeding well.

According to Ryan Key in the Chorus.FM they are not doing it full, just "Celebrating" it whatever that means. Feels like an ambitious venue for them given their last show was at the BB Theater in 2016 but I imagine they'll pull a good crowd.

yeah if they don't play View From Heaven I wouldn't be upset at all lol
i would totally be going to this too with more notice. smh
facts. i wish lol gonna see what flights are from fucking mississippi just because
i was just in nyc to see codeine last saturday lol. the shitty thing w amtrak is that the prices double if you book this close to the date. if i had a months notice i coupd have gotten a $90 round trip, now its prob double that. hopefullly this just ends up becoming a tour

damn that's unfortunate. flights for me are $300 minimum not including having to drive at least 3 hours to an airport for those prices lol def not feasible
