I was about to make a joke about us being "lucky" to live in NYC but then I realized all the special/underplay/last minute shows I've been to over the years including:

Damn I’m jealous of most of this list! My biggest underplays were:
Blink 182 @ Irving Plaza (2003) Blink 182/Linkin Park/Brand New/311 @ Hammerstein ballroom (2003) Blink 182 @ Music Hall of Williamsburg (2013) Weezer @ Warsaw (2016) Blur @ Music Hall of Williamsburg (2015) Sara Bareilles @ BAM (2015)

Oh I also had tickets to see Charli XCX at Elsewhere back in 2018 for her Pop2 show. I was too exhausted from moving that morning and missed it. One of my biggest regrets in life!
Check how much is on resale though. Its weird you cant use the seat map though.
And last min underplay:
Radiohead at Roseland 2011
You can't use the interactive seat map because it's non-reserved seating per section. Never seen such a thing at MSG before.
there might be problem with that cause they might not police it when its show night. probably only keep you at your certain level of the arena and thats it. like when they did the banc of california shows for rufus du sol and kygo it was ga for all the seating sections and they couldnt care less where you sat once gates opened other than floor being wristbanded. might as well get the cheapest ticket and then just find your spot if you arrive early.

I'm still so pissed I was at school during that 2003 K-Rock Claus Fest. I also still think Linkin Park should have swapped nights with The Offspring so it would have been the nu metal night and the alt night but maybe LP specifically DIDN'T want to play with Staind, Puddle Of Mudd, Chevelle and POD

TM resale bonkers, and resale on Stub/Vivid/etc. a bit cheaper but still pricey. I figured it'd do well, but super impressive with such short notice and a 360-show.
FYI, the Noel Gallageher/Garbage pre-sale code is CHORUS. Tickets come out to $102 for GA and $125 for GA Bleachers
The GA $102 is after fees but the grandstand is $129 before fees, it was like $157 after fees, to which I said hell no and decided to endure standing for that gig.
11/28 Raveonettes (Copenhagen, Denmark) 12/4 Interpol 12/14 LCD Soundsystem 12/31 Billy Joel 1/25 The Killers (Las Vegas) 2/12 Jack White 2/25 Father John Misty 3/6 Inhaler 4/10 Franz Ferdinand 4/17 Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds 5/15 Amyl & the Sniffers 5/18 Fontaines D.C. 9/1 Oasis
I figured Noel Gallager/Garbage would tip into the 3 figures but with the addition of Metric, I really don't mind. Oddly enough, I think Metric can probably outdraw Noel Gallaher's High Flying Birds and Garbage at this point in NYC so kinda humble of them to open.
Yeah seems like this one was basically impossible. C'est la vie. Going to try for a last minute ticket on Saturday because I figure plenty of folks bought on a whim yesterday and then will realize they can't go.
