Last time THe Cure played MSG was in 2016. They initially announced one date, it went quickly, they added another one, it also went but less quickly and then they added a third one. However this was pre-pandemic and, since then, interest in live events has skyrocketed so I have no idea what the demand will be.
EDIT: For what it's worth, my floor ticket w/fees to The Cure in 2016 was $154. I assume it'll be at least 2x the cost for this tour.
This kinda boggles my mind but they haven't played the area once since 2017 when they opened for Metallica and then Jones Beach in 2014 for the Uproar Festival so I imagine the demand is there.

Looks like my buddy got our tickets! Wayyy up there in sec 210, but only $80 a piece after fees. Apparently there were tickets for only 50 bucks, must've been the chase bridges.
Nope! I’m on the waiting list. If anybody has some knowledge of what Face Value is that would be helpful later on when I try StubHub. Thanks in advance! Good luck Y’all!!!

Jaysus, Ticketmaster was all sorts of trickery today. And this was NOT for The Cure and not a tough show. First had to chuck cookies. Then change password. Finally get in, look at seats at one price, click on seat, price goes up by $40-$60! Finally got a ticket. I feel for everyone going for The Cure this week, although at least the ticket price should be stable for that one. Anyway, I am definitely going to have a cocktail and tasty Brazilian/Portuguese food before the show, lol.

I'm really tempted on this. I LOVE Sigur Ros. But I'm also approaching some red lines in my ticket-buying budget, and I've seen them a bunch of times before.

I've stopped buying tickets way in advance unless it's something I'm 100% dedicated to going to. Most tours (Cure-aside) are now priced according to demand so you may pay 10-15% premium (think of it as a late fee) for a last minute decision but also helps with cash flow.

The Offspring/Sum 41/Simple Plan @ Jones Beach on 9/2.
Fun package, but the venue is wayyyy too big for it. Would've been better off booking Forest Hills (similar size, but more easily accessible for people in the five boroughs).
