Irving Plaza just released their schedule after the renovation:
<snip>
Thanks for the tip - was waiting for Inhaler's new dates, which the band didn't announce til noon and Citi presale actually started at noon, so I scored easily - but for the next night at Warsaw as I saw that date on the Live Nation site when looking at the Irving Plaza one..
5/1 Belle & Sebastian 5/17 Echo & the Bunnymen 6/7 Hozier 6/8 Governors Ball 6/20 Future Islands 6/27 Silversun Pickups 7/25 Billy Joel 8/5 Green Day/Smashing Pumpkins, etc. 8/21 The Gaslight Anthem 9/7 Bikini Kill 9/10 St. Vincent 9/13 The National, TWOD, Lucius 9/14 PULP 9/27 IDLES/The Walkmen 10/3 Brittany Howard/Michael Kiwanuka 10/4 Bleachers 10/6 Vampire Weekend 10/9 Sting
Tried getting tickets for the Dashboard show at Bowery during the fan club presale. Sold out in an instant : (
Fingers crossed for the general on sale! Tickets looked to be $45 before fees. Not terrible, but why on earth would he do 1 show only at the tiny Bowery? Could've done Irving, Webster or Best Buy and still sold out within a day.
For what it's worth there appears to be two off dates between NJ and VT so he could probably add another NYC date. Odd that he isn't doing, like BK steel or Webster Hall instead.

I think tickets for things might be selling quicker than normal due to everyone's excitement about there being shows again. Also maybe they aren't selling 100% capacity quite yet for late summer/fall, just in case.

I think everything is 100% capacity (or at least expecting to be). You may have a point about excitement but I feel like there is going to be a surplus of tours on the road this fall and winter that tours that are not yet announced may have trouble.
King Gizz rescheduled their tour to next fall and cancelled their Kings theatre show saying they’re going to be announcing another bigger show soon. I wonder if they’ll do a marathon show at forest hills

They seem like a perfect Prospect Park Bandshell band.

St. Vincent just announced a slate of fall tour dates, and NYC isn't included. What the actual f? I feel personally attacked.
There's a two day gap between Philadelphia and Boston so may just be finalizing the venue.
Sidenote, I noticed Greta Van Fleet announced a show in Bridgeport along with LA, Chicago and Nashville. Are people now considering Bridgeport to be an extension of the NYC area (a la NJ or LI)?

For a band like GVF definitely. With all its wealthy boomers I'd bet southern CT is one of their strongest markets.

I grew up and Southern CT (New Canaan/Darien) and can attest that it is indeed an area of wealthy boomers. That being said, Bridgeport (where I was born) is still very much a shithole (like most cities in CT) but I guess it has come up a bit. Similar to when Arcade Fire played there in 2014, it's a nice alternative to the city and both the arena/ampitheater are easily accessible via train.
