Mark Ingram got it in Buffalo last year. The guy just past him that licks the beer is great and clearly being resourceful. No lawsuit, but I think I read the guy he jumped into the stands to celebrate with has died of cancer.
Backup Qb with half of his Oline missing carved up the Bears D while the Jags D shit the bed against an anemic Cowboys offense. So many points and yards for Miami & Dallas that I say we quit our feuding over whose D is bigger and just admire the Rams D for the rest of the year. Peace.
Oh dude. The sky is absolutely falling here in Jax. I won't be excited about our chances unless we rip off 3 straight right now. The Jags d is very flaacid rn.
Imagine being paid millions of dollars to catch a ball, despite beating women, and getting upset that someone threw beer on you.
Balance that also with how he gets to get paid to play football despite the woman beating, but the guy who throws a beer never gets to see a game at Gillette again.
To be clear, are we feeling bad for the guy who threw beer on a stranger? Like, we think that this was some social justice work making a statement about the scourge of domestic abuse and not a (probably) drunken a-hole pissed that the other team scored?
It's entirely okay to think Hill is a piece of crap who doesn't deserve a life as a multimillionaire and basking in the adoration of millions and to think that athletes, celebrities, musicians, etc don't deserve to be the target of crap being thrown at them from crowds.

Thank you for pointing this out, lol. Also, I love the idea that because they are being payed to play football, players don't get to complain about anything because the same people who say that are the least physically fit. The fact of the matter is that, most likely, the person saying this is far more easily replaced than Tyreek. Anybody who makes that comment is just bitter that they weren't born with a set of monetarily valuable skills. I get it, lots of jealous folk in this world.
1. Fuck tyreek for being a POS 2. Fuck the guy who dumped that beer and I hope he cries at the gates of Gillette every Sunday. (though I think they should let him come back after the season ends)
I've always hated when people bring up how someone is "getting paid millions of dollars to play a game" or "catch a ball" or "throw a ball" when they're trying to make a argument against that person.
If you could get paid millions to catch a ball, everyone would be doing it. No, they are getting paid millions of dollars because they are the very best employees in a multi-billion dollar organization who have destroyed their bodies and worked their asses off for basically their whole lives.

Yea this is a good point. Another thing I hate is when people complain about athletes holding out for more money with the excuse "They are already making 15 mil what's another 3 mil?"
These people are literally taking years off their lives to play the game

I do feel somewhat bad that this guy is supposedly getting a lifetime ban for throwing a beer on someone. Don't get me wrong. It's an idiotic thing to do, but the punishment seems excessive for a single incident. I have no doubt that the guy had zero larger thoughts about his actions before he did them. I just feel less about it being Hill getting a drink tossed on him if he hits women. As Fore34 said, both guys suck. Ban the guy from Gillette for the rest of the season.

I am similarly mystified by those arguments. Most of the guys holding out are trying to get fair market value for their skills. Mack is a good example. He's arguably the best defensive player in the league right now. He deserves to get paid like one. It's generally telling that people will lose their minds over a player becoming a star during the course of their contract and asking for more money but will not say a word when a player is cut and loses a substantial amount of income due to long-term/repeated injuries.

We had fans throwing things at Seahawks players last year. We identified them and banned them for good. However, there would be no way for us to actually keep these people from coming back to games. They probably just can't buy season tickets under their own name.
Us being able to announce that the fans were banned is important even if it isn't actually effective. You can't lose control of that large of a crowd.

That's a fair point. /usr/bin/simp and a couple others I know have done security for Vols games over the years. They all say that there is exactly nothing they can do if the crowd starts something together. It's why that schools end up letting fans storm the field once it starts because stopping it would be difficult and result in worse problems.
I had a Pats fan friend of mine get tossed from a Bills game for smoking. He snuck back into the stadium and went back to our seats. He figured if he took his coat off then there was no way he'd be recognized. He was wrong. Somewhere I still have his "mugshot" from Bills jail. Good times.

Don't the schools get fined for the fields being stormed?
We wouldn't have to deal with that since NFL fans that can afford those front seats are probable averaging 48 years in age and would have to jump down 5 feet to land on the field.

I'm somewhat surprised the Bills have a line that can be crossed.

They do. Kentucky got fined $100k this season. The fine was slightly higher because they had another incident in 2014 or so.

Well, it was like fifteen or twenty years ago, not long after NY banned smoking in most places.

Jesus. The Cardinals are fucking terrible. I almost feel bad for trantsgiving.
I stopped watching in the second quarter. The silver lining is that Mike McCoy is almost definately gone after this game.
If he's not, I will be surprised. He was in trouble before the game, and the offense didn't do almost anything right for the three quarters I watched. As Aikman said, that timeout on the third play was a bad sign. That's just poor preparation. The organization has to be worried Rosen is going to get his career ended via concussion and Fitzgerald is going to have a sad ending to his career because I doubt anybody including Fitzgerald wants him to be traded.
