On the morning of the first sunday of football, I threw down 25$ in a survivor league. Just pick 1 game for the week. Saints v Bucs. Ill take that just to survive to week 2 and not look like a fool. Not only did I lose 25 in a matter of 4 hours, but theyve ripped off 7 since? Assholes
I would’ve taken Jags over Giants. Division games are hard to predict especially week one games.

Who was the guy that was a good kick returner, joined the team as a walk on, used to drive a beer delivery truck?
After I posted that other reply (Michael Lewis), I was thinking he was the one involved with the original Joe Horn phone celebration. If it was Lewis, he shows up near the goal post making a sweeping motion like he's using a metal detector to find something before Joe Horn gets the phone. So that part was kind of missing. I'm going to look back after this post to see if that was Lewis or not.
Some of my favorite TD celebrations/trolls were the Joe Horn Cellphone, Owens Sharpie, almost everything Chad Ochocinco did but particularly the Santa Cap and bag of footballs he gave out to the crowd along with the "Dear NFL, Please Don't Fine Me Again!" and also Lance Moore and Kenny Stills of the Saints busting out the Hingle McCringleberry 3 pump. hahaha. Some of the good ones.
Do we have any packers fans that can talk about McCarthy? I don't know how hes still coaching there
not a packers fan, but disgruntled aaron jones fantasy owner.
yea, he sucks. both teams last night have top 10 all time QBs (IMO), one team ran double passes, flea flickers, generally introduced new wrinkles and another team was like, ok aaron, you got this, lets continue to throw outside against NE's good-ass corners and not exploit NE's slow-ass LBs
Saints vs. Eagles has been flexed to 3:25 on Sunday, November 18th (a week from this Sunday). That blows a little bit because we have Atlanta Falcons that following Thursday night (Thanksgiving).
Looks like the Saints will have Dez Bryant in for a workout tomorrow. We could use another threat with Cameron Meredith apparently still not quite ready to go full time. That would lead to a bit of an embarrassment of offensive riches. As it was, the game yesterday was the first in NFL history between 2 teams averaging over 33 points a game this late in the season.
Mannn if Linehan doesnt get fired after that... then he never will. Likewise with Garrett but he seems to have a longer leash. Would Mike McCarthy be a good fit with the Cowboys? He helped develop Rodgers masterfully, plus he’s never had a great rb like Zeke so it’d be interesting to see what he can draw up with him. McCarthy lives in Austin too so he’d be a lot closer to his home.
Do you think it's going to matter? If so, I am willing to bet you and up to 3 other Eagles fans straight up a wager of a $25.00 donation to charity of the winner's choice*.
I'm not going to bag on you if not. But I'll lay the option on the table 2 weeks out.

matter in what way? we should be the clear frontrunner in the division now, with the injuries to the redskins oline. the cowboys are trash. do I think we're in the rams/saints tier of the NFC? No, but I think we'll make the playoffs as a 3 or 4 and be a very tough out. I'm expecting to win 1 of the 3 non divisional games left (saints/ram/texans) and sweep the division.
I'll possibly bet the spread with you, but let's wait for the line first.

I was being facetious and saying the bye week won’t matter because you guys are coming here. But yeah, we can see where the line is end of next week. I also think you guys are front runners for the NFC North. Giants are toast. Cowboys have an occasional good game, but last night proved the opposite is also true. Skins are in trouble with those injuries from this past weekend.
I also think you all are upper echelon if not elite this season. The super bowl or championship hangover is real for most teams not the Patriots, Warriors, Cavs or even the Spurs from a few years back. The victory tour extends an already extended post season and delays the requisite start of the climb back to the top. At the same time, I expect you guys to be in the mix for the foreseeable future although it’s probably going to be extremely tough to get back to the Super Bowl this season.

we're getting healthier but out secondary is still pretty ass. our formula last year was score a shit ton and get pressure without blitzing. Our offense hasn't really clicked yet and our line play hasn't been up to par, but if we're able to find that groove and go on a run, I think we can be in that upper tier, but I won't anoint them without seeing it for a couple game first.

How about $25 for the division? I love what I'm seeing out of my team this year.
