I’m getting pretty excited for the games this weekend. I wasn’t going to be in Mississippi, so I haven’t looked at the spreads and O/Us yet.
1) Colts at Texans - Texans seem to have some unfinished business from the last couple years where injuries prevented them from doing anything. I know both games this year were decided by 3 and won by the road team. Texans are a 2.5 point favorite, and the over under is 47.5. I’d probably take the Texans and lay the points and also pick the over.
2) Seahawks at Cowboys - Cowboys are a one point favorite, and the over under is 43. Seahawks won in the regular season, but both of these teams finished the season strong (winning 5 of 6 and 6 of 7). Clearly a good team is going to be eliminated. I think the Cowboys will win, but the Seahawks are unpredictable to me. Game could be wide open or a rushing and defensive battle. I don’t think I’d bet on this game at all, but gun to the head bet would be to take Dallas and spot the point and maybe shoot for the over (regular season game was 24-13, so they wouldn’t have covered).
3) Chargers at Ravens - Ravens are a 2.5 point favorite, and the o/u is 41.5. I think the Chargers are the better team, but it’s tough to win on the road in the playoffs, and it’s tough to win in Baltimore where the Ravens were 6-2 this year. Chargers were 7-1 on the road though. Tough game to bet on, but I’d probably take the Chargers and the points and bet the over.
4) Eagles at Bears - Bears are a 6 point favorite, and the over under is 41. Bears should win, but I’m not spotting the Eagles 6 points so I’d probably take them and bet the under. Another good NFC team will be eliminated here.

I'm heading to the casino this afternoon to place some bets. Here is what I am thinking:
1. Texans -2.5 and the over. 2. Seahawks +1 and the under. 3. Ravens -2.5 and the over. 4. Eagles +6 and the over.
I think the Texans and Ravens win outright obviously, the Seabags win outright, the Eagles cover but lose. We know at least one road team will likely win, just have to figure out which one. I think the Colts are the second most likely road team to win after the Seabags.

It's kinda funny because I'm watching this game at work and Everytime I look at the TV it is on the Texans have had the ball, but somehow the Colts have 21
You seen the news on Kingsbury today? It combines the college and nfl coaching carousel, so I figure it would be right up your alley.
This is exactly my lane, you are right!
Strange move by Lynn Swann. Why would you deny him the interview opportunities? You make it *more* likely he leaves if you do that, I think. I also don't know what NFL teams are thinking in trying to interview him. I guess both rumored teams, Jets and Cardinals, have young QBs they want mentored. I guess...

How does a guy with a losing coaching record in the Big 12 get fired and then mmediately promoted to the USC job and then get NFL offers? Bizarre.
Well, he is pretty handsome. I feel like sports people are prone to get the idea of who their guy is in their head and refuse to look at any metrics to the contrary.

To be fair, it seems like the USC OC job is perfect for him. He knows offense. It's the perfect job for him and I'd love to see how he does there. The NFL stuff, that's inexplicable.

He’s an awesome fit in SC, but it does feel like a promotion to me. I’d want an offensive coordinator gig there before I’d want the head job at Tech. I imagine he’d be one of the highest paid coordinators in the country.
Pray Deshaun can be superman and win the game by himself.
I think that game showed he's got a loooooooooong way to go and it's questionable whether he gets there.
He had a couple bad throws but like maddog said terrible o-line, rb got him killed at least 3 times. Nuk is their only wr threat and he must be hurt because he didn't play like himself. Deshaun can't do it by himself. They need to get him some help.
Keke looks good going forward, if Fuller can stay healthy a full season he could be special. Signing Lamar Miller is turning out to be a real dud and he's under contract for two more years.
