It is what it is. The Chiefs' D gave up a bunch of third and longs on that OT drive.
That said, make OT that the other team gets a chance to score if the first team scores. And not just in the playoffs. Does anybody complain that a game has too much scoring? Why the insistence on the shortest possible OT?

Probably for TV time constraints.
Fuck them. The NFL was like 18 of the top 20 shows. They've got nothing going on on Sunday afternoons.
I always thought saints fans were forever in our pockets for 28-3
Haha. Not always but in the super bowl, there are about 0 nfc teams I’d want to win besides the Saints. However I’m fucking pissed and full on in heel turn mode and hope you all bitch whip the Chiefs and then destroy the rams.

Here's one for you: The Patriots get more critical, questionable calls in their favor than any team in the NFL. Most notably during playoff/ elimination games.
See: today's RTP, pretty much the entire 2017 season (including the AFC championship game lol), and of course, the tuck rule

Can I see your sources? Also the tuck rule was literally used against us against the Jets in the same season and was a rule up until 2010. It has been called many times before and after used in that game. Rule sucks but it's right. Everyone just wants a reason to hate us lol

Bad Callas went the pats way too, a couple key ones in fact (Jackson pi and holding). There was also the pi no call after that shitty roughing the passed

Here's a video just on 2017:
Do Pats fans really think there isn't favoritism? Even Rockets' fans know that Harden walks on 50% of his step back 3s lol

No I do realize we get questionable calls, see my "bullshit roughing the passer call" comment. It's just ignorant to say it only goes our way and that's why we win

I mean, there's at least 3/8 SB appearances that wouldn't have happened with better/ less biased officiating, if you go strictly by elimination games... how would you characterize it?

I don't think that's true. But hey we've lost 3 super bowls so maybe the refs made up for it🤔

tuck rule = game over myles jack fumble return = game over rtp today = game over

I'm saying that there's more than one call in a game lol. If the officiating was different those plays may not have even happened. There were two touchdowns that the eagles got last year in the super bowl. The no catch out of the back of the end zone and then Philly special was an illegal formation. What if scenarios are stupid arguments because they didn't happen

Yeah, but those three calls and every one from that 2017 video were THE calls. Pivotal. Game-changing. Game-ending. Whatever you want to call them. You can't compare a ticky-tacky illegal formation non-call (which isn't even close to conclusive) to the stuff that the Pats have benefited from. C'mon man, you're playing yourself lol.

Yeah sure it's our fault the chiefs couldn't stop us the rest of the drive or in OT or any time after those calls. What about the chiefs player that lined up offsides on a play that would've ended the game had he not done that? That's not our fault or the refs. The chiefs had opportunity after the bad call and the pats had their fair share of bad calls too. A couple examples from the video, Big Ben threw an intervention after that Jesse James thing. Stephen Gilmore got a huge intervention in the afc championship in the jaguars game. Teams have their chances and blow it
It's tough to feel happy for y'all and Brady going to his 9th Super Bowl when our HOF quarterback was just robbed of his second and possibly final chance to play in the big game. I honestly don't think we are ever going to get over that missed call. How do you get over it? How do you ever trust the league again, trust to allow yourself to get hopeful for an entire offseason, a preseason, 16 games, majority of the playoffs and have it all taken away on the most blatant missed call you could ever imagine. I'm not even sure I want to put myself through this shit again.

WTF does that have to do with yesterday?! Those "guys" playing yesterday? The organization was served the most severe punishment ever given out by the league that crushed our team for multiple seasons. You really going to bring that shit back up? Please.
