I think they should scrap the current officiating rules and start from scratch
Yeah. If heads don’t roll, there’s pretty much no justice in the NFL administration. Head of officiating should go, and at least one or two of the officials who blew the call in our game should be fired. Shit still sucks today. I mean you can lose by fucking up and deal with it. But when you lose mostly because of officiating, it blows. Someone was telling me last night that a first and goal from the 6 with them having one time out and about 1:50 left gave us a 98.8% chance of winning. I didn’t read it so I don’t know the source. But still, what a fuck job. You work your ass off all year, and you claw and scratch to get to the top. You shouldn’t be able to be fucked over by not in your control hunan error. Fucking official Dicks.

I mean even the CFL has the ability to challenge penalties. Even that would be a start
I love the pettiness. Makes me wish I cared enough about an NFL team.
Join the pats
I use to say I was split between Panthers and Falcons. I realized when both lost super bowls that I wasn't really a fan because it didn't hurt me. I like the Texans now because of the Clemson connection. But I'm sure how real that is either.

Just pick a team and have fun. I'd suggest the Bills but I'm biased. The most fun might be in becoming a Browns fan. They've sucked for so long and are on the cusp of being relevant again and fun to watch.

I definitely watch and enjoy watching. I've just never picked a team. I enjoy watching pretty much anyone and it's a lot less stressful.

The Panthers also played a year at Clemson before moving to Charlotte

I know. I was never interested in them when they were new. I'm not sure why but I have completely different feelings about pro sports. I was a big Braves fan and I think that's still there. I just don't get to watch them much if I want to stay married.

I would probably go Browns if I was gonna pick now. I appreciate a long suffering fan base. Plus, the owners are from Knoxville.
Still fuck. NFL has not made an official statement. Owner Benson has put out a statement and is calling for some type of change to bring more fairness and integrity to the game, though it’s not specific. Lots of whataboutism on the web today showing some saints violations. But none of them changed the integrity of the game. Needless to say the primary graphic doesn’t show the non-call PI on Ted Ginn nor the helmet to helmet knockout of Josh Hill early in the game. So we had some of that too. Fucking sucks and so do all the Saints fans screaming about shit being rigged. They sound like Trump voters and Falcons fans.
Yeah, but those three calls and every one from that 2017 video were THE calls. Pivotal. Game-changing. Game-ending. Whatever you want to call them. You can't compare a ticky-tacky illegal formation non-call (which isn't even close to conclusive) to the stuff that the Pats have benefited from. C'mon man, you're playing yourself lol.
Yeah sure it's our fault the chiefs couldn't stop us the rest of the drive or in OT or any time after those calls. What about the chiefs player that lined up offsides on a play that would've ended the game had he not done that? That's not our fault or the refs. The chiefs had opportunity after the bad call and the pats had their fair share of bad calls too. A couple examples from the video, Big Ben threw an intervention after that Jesse James thing. Stephen Gilmore got a huge intervention in the afc championship in the jaguars game. Teams have their chances and blow it

I'm a Browns fan but I live deep in Colts country. I'm in the weird position where I don't particularly like the Patriots but I also get pretty sick of everyone giving them constant shit 24/7 to the point where it's kind of fun to root for the Pats just to be contrarian.
It's tough to feel happy for y'all and Brady going to his 9th Super Bowl when our HOF quarterback was just robbed of his second and possibly final chance to play in the big game. I honestly don't think we are ever going to get over that missed call. How do you get over it? How do you ever trust the league again, trust to allow yourself to get hopeful for an entire offseason, a preseason, 16 games, majority of the playoffs and have it all taken away on the most blatant missed call you could ever imagine. I'm not even sure I want to put myself through this shit again.
This is so melodramatic. Y'all had a 13 point lead after the 1st quarter. That was one of the worst/most important no calls I have ever seen and that sucks; but, all of this rematch talk that I have seen around the internet is absurd. A game is not truly decided with one play and the aints need to stop acting like it was. I'm pissed y'all made me sit through Buffet's anthem and that arrogant ass mic drop and I think the refs were too.

All well and good. But regardless of what else might have happened, a shot to run down the clock to about 15 seconds and kick a go ahead field goal to get to the Super Bowl was the penalty for not calling a blatant pass interference as well as a helmet to helmet shot. It’s kind of a big deal, so if people are dramatic or melodramatic, I don’t think it’s all that misplaced.

It was a terrible call, no doubt. I just think these Saints fans (not you) thinking the NFL is out to get them is over the top. NFL officiating is bad, has been for years. They need to fix it. There's no conspiracy though.

This guy over here acting like his mute button doesn't work.

Of course not. And if you read back a couple of posts of mine in this thread, I called out that stupid shit. How many morons fucking still think we got the Super Bowl in 2009 because of Katrina? They were bringing that shit back up on Falcons life a couple of weeks ago about how this is all planned. You can tell some mfers over and over again that you wouldn't be able to place bets on legitimate sports books if there was any appearance of impropriety. But people are so fucking stupid now. Just look at how many people believe in dumb, right-wing talking points. Look at our president and any support he still gets. Look at Flat Earthers and Moon Landing Deniers. There are 9/11 truthers and Obama born in Kenya conspirists. It's unfucking believable. However, I have to say this. New Orleans, while not part of the bible belt, is in the South. Many southern people are both passionate as fuck and stupid as shit as they believe what they read or repeat what they hear. Bobby Hebert - a fucking player in the league for almost a decade - is spearheading and cheerleading a bunch of that shit. Shame on him. But mostly shame on the stupid ass motherfuckers for believing some side-story b.s. about the NFL wanting one of its L.A. market teams to succeed so is thus giving them a shot at a championship when they were all mad at people around 2010 for saying the NFL gifted us that Super Bowl.
