Seen it reported today that for refs in the NFC game have southern California ties. This really isn't going to go away, isn't it? I can only imagine it'll get worse if the patriots wreck the rams.

It's kinda like the refs from the Ohio State/Michigan game where we stopped that dude on fourth and one but they said he got the first 😠

Or if the Rams win. NFL is bungling the shit where they maybe could have saved much more face and credibility with something official. Reporting around town is that pretty much everyone from the NFL hierarchy said behind the scenes the call should have been made and that kind of settles it. It’s too big of a fuck up to let slide regardless of what anyone thinks of the Saints. Nut up and face the cameras and put something out to the public that your investigation has resulted in finding that the officiating was negligent or incompetent so this is what you’re going to do about it and also how you plan to address late game critical calls and non calls. As a saints fan, I’m still going to be pissed we were fucked out of a shot at the Lombardi. That’s not going away. But as a football fan, I could say that the NFL took steps to ensure that they didn’t fuck shit up similarly again. If you look at it logically, it’s the most blatant nfl officiating mistake - obviously much of that is due to the consequences- of all times. Say it matters and that you kind of give a fuck about integrity.
I blew off the Pro Bowl today. I haven’t decided what I’m doing super bowl Sunday. A lot of people in town are blowing it off to do other shit. I’m not excited about it, but it’s still the super bowl. I’ll figure it out.

We don't wreck anyone in Super Bowls. It's more of a 4th quarter comeback, win by a FG or TD.

if they were rigging the game, you'd think they'd try and call more than 3 penalties on the saints.

So glad the Pats are in the Super Bowl for one reason not being that I'm a fan. It makes this terrible traffic so much easier to sit in. If we weren't in the bowl it'd be a huge spit in the face

it was here in MN last year and never really had to deal with it unless you went actually downtown or to the mall of america. we went down the sat night before the game and had a good time just wandering around checking stuff out, wasn't all that cool though

Yeah I live downtown though lol
Gonna try to go the experience thing tomorrow and hopefully watch the game at Centennial Park but can't find anyone to go with yet

don't let your uber driver do the whole "oh yeahhhhhh they shut down all the roads, LITERALLY ALL OF THEM, don't worry though, I'll just drive you around the back" and then drive for miles out of the way. that was my superbowl experience experience.

I'm just gonna walk there, was it cool though? Or at least worth it?

I saw Solange for free and got kicked out of ZZ Top/Gary Clark Jr because it was at capacity, that part of things was rad.
I didn't do any of the pay for 'celebrity' watch parties, or do a big city watch party. the area by my house was having kind of block parties but we just stayed in for the game.
