I feel like the southern states without teams could easily be saints fans
This. Also, in a Southerner's mind, it's like trying to pick between the lesser of two evils: The liberal Northeast elites vs the Liberal Hollywood elites. Mostly because the South can be real stupid.
As far as New Orleans is concerned, I honestly haven't personally heard a single person talk about this game in any context of "Rams or Patriots." People either are still making comments about the no call or they just aren't talking about the game at all. It's not even just about the #boycottbowl, it's just that people don't give a shit who wins this year.
Apparently Coach Payton was sporting a Goodell the Clown shirt under his pullover for his press conference today. Lmfao. That will probably get us more in trouble with that fn ahole but whatever.

It's kinda silly to blame Goodell for that bad call, IMO.
His realistic options afterwards were either denouncing the call and further inflaming the situation, backing up the officials and looking like an idiot, or waiting for things to die down and acknowledge it in his presser, which he did.
I don’t blame him for the call. I blame him for douching the process. First fuck him for 2012 already, so I blame him for that. I also understand that making it a big early issue puts a stain on the Rams and his marquee event. So he was in a difficult spot. But fuck him. We got dicked, and we aren’t getting any satisfaction. There were things he could have said or done besides blowing smoke, but he didn’t. Fuck him. He’s a clown and an enemy of our franchise. I’m glad coach wore the shirt to mock that asshole. That’s where I’m coming from.

Put a little bit on Pats -2.5.
I say a little bit, because in the grand scheme of gambling it's not that much, but for me it's the biggest wager I've ever made. I felt like the line should be a bit higher, so I think it's good value, but we shall see.
Saints fans rapidly eclipsing 2005 seahawks fans as biggest whiners in NFL history
At least you guys have a grievance, I guess?
There are whiners. There are idiots who believe in conspiracies. Many of us, me and Coach Payton included, are in "fuck you" mode. Nothing will be accomplished by whining. Flipping them off and calling them the assholes they are at every opportunity at least puts it out there what we think. If Goodell wants to laugh about the clown shirt, or fine Coach Payton or whatever, he doesn't care. They fucked up. They didn't make it right in any way. Fuck 'em.
Pats -2.5
It's all I could do not to get off the I-10 in MS this past weekend to bet the money line. I wouldn't have laid the points, Forbes (yesterday) has it -129 for the Pats and +117 for the Rams. They also said most books are big Rams fans this weekend because 79% of betters are on Pats -2.5, and 58% are on the Pats to win outright. I think (and hope) you will win that bet, but like I said before the NFC Championship game, the Rams are formidable. They're young, but they have a lot of talent and good coaching.

HA! Yeah... by taking one question about it and lying about talking to the players. He did absolutely nothing to address one of the most controversial call/no-calls in history. This man was already uninvited to the New Orleans bbq. We will continue being petty for a long time and we will not apologize about it.

Whatever helps you get it out of your system.
Goodell = Dick Cheney, Donald Trump, Bobby Jindal and John Wayne Gacy to me at this point. Like I said, fuck him.
The only real bad thing about being a Pats fan is the fact everyone else hates us. And a lot of that is deserved, cause there's a lot of assholes. It's not quite Eagles territory, but it's bad enough.
