Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'll be getting there wednesday as well. Can't wait to be back at SOSMP and get down with all you folks. It saddens me a bit that theres isn't more interest for this fest on this forum, as I personally think it's the best overall festival experience I've been apart of. Hulaween should be on everyone's radar.
but anyway, in case yall haven't heard, there will be a huge bubble party at all 3 STS9 sets this year. I'll be at all 3 sets dressed as a bear with loads of extra bubbles to hand out to people. Come find me and get some bubbles!
There's interest on my end, but I will not go. Just the same, if you missed it in the Voodoo thread, we're both getting different Tipper sets. You guys have Fractaled Visions out of the UK, and we're getting a Voodoo Themed visual production from W \\ Double You out of Berlin, Germany. Fractaled looks really cool, so the visuals (as in all Tipper shows) should be really cool for y'all.
Ah, I missed the announcement of the VJs. Was hoping for Jonathan Singer or Android Jones, but the Fractaled Visions guy looks pretty cool. Always nice to change it up, I guess. Unfortunately Tipper plays the same time as Vulfpeck at Hula. I'll probably only be catching half of each set since I have yet to catch Vulf live.

I thought they were okay whenever it was that I saw them. They were a bit overhyped on Inforoo, but it wasn't a bad show or anything. Just the same, if the situation is right, you'll probably want to see that Tipper set. Fractaled looks to be pretty killer. Tipper & Fractaled Visions did at least one set together at Camp Bisco this year. I'm not sure who he had on board for Astral Valley a few weeks ago though. Regardless, you already know whoever does his visuals is going to be top notch. So even if you need to split the set, you will still get a treat.
I haven't talked to him, but most likely Wake N Blake will probably be at both Voodoo & Hula like a bunch of other Tipper fans i know. WnB pretty much travels the country to catch Bassnectar and Tipper shows (among a few others) and puts them all up on YouTube. He usually gets pretty close to the front, but lately the camera work has been a little shaky. Regardless, I will look forward to his and everyone else's uploads from Hulaween later next week. It's at least a taste.
Also, S/XM's Jam On will be carrying interviews and sets over the weekend. They haven't announced who all is going to be on their schedule yet. Ari Fink is going to host, and the broadcast begins at noon Eastern Time on Friday and runs Friday-Saturday-Sunday. So for all the "wish I was there" Hula fans, you can still tune in and listen. Here's what they show now, so it looks like 11/12 hours a day of radio broadcasts.
Fri Oct 26 12:00 pm - Sat Oct 27 12:00 am Suwannee Hulaween Live performances, backstage interviews and more at the Suwannee Hulaween Festival in Live Oak, Florida.
Sat Oct 27 12:00 am - Sun Oct 28 12:00 am Suwannee Hulaween Live performances, backstage interviews and more at the Suwannee Hulaween Festival in Live Oak, Florida. (24 hours so probably rerunning the programming when it finishes)

Who do you think Eoto will have joining them for "Eoto and friends" tomorrow?
I'm guessing the Floozies. I thought it was a little weird the floozies were playing AFTER STS9, but I was thinking they'll probably get their gear set up and leave it there til Eoto's set.
So the hype is real with Jamiroqui. I was on the rail center, and holy shut those guys are so talented it was incredible. I feel lucky to have ridden rail for this show. So good.
Incredible time. Words can’t descrive how breathtaking spirit lake is, and the whole weekend of music was top notch. Better stages, better production, and just the overall dedication and care to the Park is unmatched. I also didn’t feel like a criminal walking through security and no car check getting into the venue. Anywho, I’ll be back next year and I’m hoping with Okeechobee kicking the bucket, this will become Florida’s premiere festival.

The lineups for this aren’t my favorite but this festival is great. Being able to camp under trees almost everywhere with so much shade is such a plus. No lines ever for anything, the production was good, the campground DJ sets were awesome. What truly makes this fest stand out is the spirit lake area though. So much art and it was like nothing I’ve ever seen before, truly incredible. If they continue to book a few interesting acts I’m there. Not too into jam but SCI is really good I was impressed. The woman empowerment set they did with the fire spinners and Cirque Du Soleil on stage was insane.
How big of a crowd did Jamiroquia have? I was on the rail so I have no idea...I hope they had a big one, so they continue to book unique/hard to get acts like that!
Did any of y'all see or hear of any promotional dates for next year or whatever? Voodoo has confirmed they're November 1-3, so I'm hoping (against the odds) that Hula will be 10/25-28 and allow me to be able to attend.

It thined out about 30 minutes in. I started in the back moved my way up to left of the soundstage without any trouble. Was the highlight of my weekend, that and ott.

Pretty positive it’s been the same weeks past few years. I’ve gone past 4 years and always been the same dates. (99% sure)

It definitely has been the same weekend but none of the weekends were after Halloween. They all were either Halloween weekend or the weekend before. I know I’m grasping at straws, but I have a hair of hope I can do back to back. If ACL is good enough, and it always is, I’ll be able to pull three festivals off in that 4 week span. So against the odds but I have my fingers crossed. If y’all hear anything, please let us know.

Will do. I do know in 2013 (I think that was the year) Hula did Oct 31-Nov 2 so I’d expect it to probably be the same weekend but I’m hoping it isn’t either so I can do the back to back as well. But the two tests tend to share a good amount of acts so more then likely it will be the same weekend.

Paul Levin (promoter) posted on Facebook about the issue. While they are extremely embarrassed by this, it seems like they’ll pull through. Here’s hoping everything runs fine next year!
