"Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us." — Charles Bukowski
Bob Dylan is great, but i'll pass up his show everytime. I'll chalk it up to being born in the wrong decade. I don't get too excited about acts like Dylan and The Pixies when their golden years have long faded.
This is what my concert calendar looks like for now:
Castanets - March 9th @ rubber gloves
An Albatross - March 16th @ rubbergloves.
Zang - April 4th @ Doublewide
Colin Meloy - April 8th @ the granada
Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks - April 21st @ the granada

it really makes me happy that this thread took off the way it did. while texas is traditionally "conservative", i think we can all agree there's no place else we'd rather live or be from. ;D ;D ;D

WOW. That's extremely embarrassing. I've had gmail for probably close to a year now and have never seen the trash button until just now. I could've used that a few times before too. But now, here's the presale password! GOLIATH Enjoy!
bah! I recorded the game, and avoided the internet until I finished watching it. Mavericks should have won, but they blew so many chances in that last minute.
I still think the Mavericks and Spurs will end up being the only teams that matter in the playoffs.
