yea wherever you park you park, then you move your crap....i remember seeing some cars in the tent only section, but i had no idea how they got there. its pretty much outside of centeroo, 06 it was like right there, 07 it was pushed back a little cause they extended the vip section...which sucked but it still was close

I will be leaving from Fort Worth Wednesday night, right now its me and my roommate Rienone going for sure and as many people as we can round up, hopefully 4 more or so. I know a few friends who are interested. We plan on taking a few compact cars, probably 2 people per car. Last year we rented a van for a week to drive to Coachella, but that was about $950 including gas. I wont be doing that this year. I went to Bonnaroo last year for the first time with 4 friends, and I am trying to express to my other friends how much of a life changing experience it is. Once you step inside the Bonnaroo campgrounds, almost nothing else happening outside of Bonnaroo matters. I love that.
coming from austin as well and as far as i know i'll be by myself so meeting up with fellow rooers would be awsome. karma to you hippienaustin for starting this thread
Sorry yall. I forgot about this thread for a couple days (how could I!?!?) Anyway, what time do most of yall usually leave for roo? Last year, we left around 2 or 3 in the afternoon on wednesday from houston, but because of some weird detours and stops, we got to wal-mart at about 6am the next day. Just wondering what others do....
Last year i left at thursday at midnight. A damn shame because I couldn't give my support during the Black Angels set. This year I plan on leaving Wednesday afternoon, late night.

i know we left wednesday around 3ish maybe? maybe earlier, i can't remember. but we had to stop through dallas because two of our friends joining us were flying in from amsterdam that day.
we got to Roo around 2ish on thursday, had time to set up, relax, and then go exploring.
In 2003 (my first) I got there Tuesday evening. Hung out at the Wal Mart, spent the night in the lot, the next day we got moved to this sweet camping area that had showers. that evening they came thru and told us that the farm was being opened and then we got there and ended up getting a sweet spot.
whad up fellow texans!!! im from san antonio (home of the 2007 NBA Champions) and i will be making the trek out for my first roo this year...still no definite plans as to how im getting there (maybe drive to austin and catch a ride from a certain hippie)...i will try to go out the ghostland show in austin and maybe some of us can meet up
