so obvisiously we are gonna have two caravans coming from texas, one from dfw area and one from the south (houston/austin/san antonio collectively) it looks like if dallas parrrty would be willing to drive the I20 route then we could all meet up in Meridian, MS which approx equal distance/time and prolly easy as hell to navigate through therefor the meet up would be a breeze. your thoughts?

google maps is telling me its still quicker for us austin folk to take 35 to dallas, and then catch 20, so i guess we'll meet up with houston in meridian?

I'm leaving from Austin, maybe Houston because the friend who is coming lives there. I'm not sure about driving to Dallas though. Which way is the San Antonio/Austin/Houston crew going?

Last year we went 10 to 55 for some weird reason until jackson, then crossed over to meridian and then onto 59, and lastly 24. I'm not really sure why we did that, but it took the same amount of time as going over to new orleans and getting on 59 would, because another car in our caravan took that route. So yeah, either way we crossed through meridian so both work out nicely
