Fill up, it did not. They closed off the entire 200s level section, covered it up with a black curtain, relocated everyone (I doubt there were very many) people who had 200s level tickets to the 100s or floor. Even after doing that, it was still only 75% full. Compared to Wednesday night, which felt like a true sold out show at the Forum.

I went with the better venue and price point. And a quick trip up north wasnt gonna be the worst thing to do when I got the tickets initially. Even had em printed out. Theyre just in a drawer now.
Any good off-site parking options for Dodger Stadium? Asking for Elton John tomorrow.
Elysian Park and walk up? Metro Express from Union Station? PreGame at the Short Stop and walk from there? Done all of those before and they’re not too bad if you don’t want to pay for parking.

Did they announce the Stadium Express is running for the show? Cause it didnt for Gaga. Gen parking is $40 and buy in advance if you do that.

It appears to be running today and tomorrow. Does the shuttle have its own designated route or does it sit in the same traffic as everyone else?
It has a designated lane to enter the stadium on sunset and then might slow down like when you get up to the gates. But its fast. Just getting out migjt be tough but its still free
Well parking wasnt that difficult for Elton. Only 2 blocks from the stadium. Show was great, amazing sound and the guests were cool. Was pissed tf off that they had a special poster and seems they sold the bulk of them outside in the parking lot merch booths with no limit and they were apparently peppered throughout the stadium with a handful at each stand and had sold out within an hour of opening the gates. Got a nice bootleg shirt for $20 though. Cant wait to see the disney plus footage
Dozens of $5-range tickets for Arcade Fire on Wednesday on Stubhub, many of which are pairs. Fewer for the Thursday show, but I think that's because so few people bought for 2nd night to begin with.

We skipped the night 1 show in LA even though we had bought our tickets before everything came out because we all felt weird about it.
Had a nice dinner out instead. It was way the way better option, for sure.

I will say, as someone who went both nights, the first night definitely felt awkward. We backed away as Win walked through our part of the crowd not wanting to be near his icky self, cheered much harder for Regine, and gave some pretty half-hearted hum-alongs when they asked the crowd to do so. I think I just needed to get that frustration and disappointment out of my system, because I felt a lot better the second night and had more fun despite probably preferring the first night's setlist.

Ticketmaster lowered all non-floor prices for Almost Acoustic to $55, so I thought about buying a ticket, but the YYY's just pulled out, so I was right to hold off.
Edit: Replaced by Social D in a classic KROQ move.

I’ve been going back and forth on whether I want to get tickets - that show is the same weekend as Desert Daze & peak haunt season. Probably gonna wait and find a way in if I’m free that night.

$199 was face value. Go to vegas or berkeley instead. Both ga and you can at least not have the conflict. Although the weekend of the bowl show and dd is gonna be brutal with stuff happening.

Just noticed Metronomy has a lone date in Oakland on Friday, May 12th. No LA date. If Just Like Heaven is May 13th, switching dates with Cruel World, I can see them on.

Def looks like it with Cruel World being the 20th. So now they just need YYY's,The Walkmen and some others to fill the day out from Kilby Court Fest.

Doubt it. Vocal rest. If they were playing sd then it wouldve been announced. Just sucks this got added cause it wouldve solved the desert daze and other stuff that weekend conflict.
Btw, House of Blues Anaheim parking hack. Do not pay for parking at all. Go into the structure, get your ticket and just go to the show. Theyre going to pressure you when youre walking in to pre pay and such with validation. Dont do it. They literally leave the exit gates up after a show and you just drive on out. Theyre pretty much playing you to pay and will get as many people as they can to fork over some bucks that youreally shouldnt be giving up at all. It was always great at downtown disney cause you showed your wristband and they let you out. But now theyre just doing this. Although its a much better pricing structure, its still a little scammy.
