Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This festival loves Marina and the Diamonds who I guess is just Marina now. Guster is a fun one that should’ve happened a while ago. Black Star is awesome. Surprised/bummed about no U.S. Girls but we got Shame
After you've praised them to the skies here, I checked out a song or two from Shame, and I just have one question for you: How on Earth can you stand that guy's voice?
I’m really just here for when he takes his shirt off, I don’t listen to the music

Seriously? You must be a troll and please stop or just go to Shaky Knees thread.
Seriously? Do you really think this guy's voice is on par with what we've come to expect from a good Britpop singer in the last 25 years? The band's pretty decent, but the guy isn't in the same league as Gallagher (either one) or Albarn, or the singers from Catfish and the Bottlemen or SWAY.

Why is Imogen Heap at the bottom of the poster with the comedians? Maybe I'm misunderstanding what she'll be doing at the festival, but if she's actually doing a music set then that makes this lineup look a whole lot better.

This isn’t Brit-pop...
That particular song sure sounds like Britpop in 2018, although it may very well not be representative of their repertoire, as a whole.
also whoever is Sheck Wes' agaent must be godly to convince BC to put that joker on the same line as Janelle Monae
I don't know what a Sheck Wes is, but yeah.... how is it so high up? Literally never heard of he/she/they(?) before. Surprised Janelle isn't higher, but not mad because if she's earlier in the day then there will be fewer people there.

According to the website:
Arena:
The Boston Calling Arena is not to be missed. Featuring musical performances, comedy sets, and more, The Arena is one of Boston Calling’s most intimate performance spaces.
Not my favorite headliners by a long shot but an overall solid undercard, so i'm buying a 3-day if only because i'll have raging FOMO otherwise. Plus buying 2 single days isn't at all cost effective compared to the 3-day.
Does any other festival have Black Star? They win this lineup for me... so so excited for that.
I don't know anything about anyone on the bottom 3 lines which is a little disappointing but not a total shock. Gotta do a little research i guess.
THERE'S ONLY 49 NAMES WHICH MEANS WE ARE MISSING SOMEONE ?!
Here, I fixed the billing cause holy shit some of these are billed way to high:
Twenty One Pilots - Travis Scott - Tame Impala ODESZA - Logic - Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals Janelle Monae - Hozier - Brandi Carlile - Greta Van Fleet Lord Huron - Christine & The Queens - Big Red Machine Black Star - Marina - Mura Masa - King Princess - Guster Denzel Curry - Snakehips - Young Fathers - Chromeo (DJset) Rainbow Kitten Surprise - Mitski - Sheck Wes - Princess Nokia Clairo - SOB x RBE - Ravyn Lenae - Snail Mail - Superorganism Gang Of Youths - Yaeji - Pale Waves - Shame - Cautious Clay Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever - Kilo Kish - Turnstile - Pile Dessa - White Reaper - Sasha Sloan - Sidney Gish - Skeggs Naeem - Adia Victoria - Easy Life
The 2019 lineup seems like a bit of a letdown from previous Boston Callings to me. That's always been one of the better booked fests. There's some cool shit and some uncool shit. Black Star and Tame give it a bump up though.

Hard to compare this to other lineups this year until I see the day by day breakdown, but there's some good stuff here, like Tame Impala, Anderson Paak, Hozier, Janelle Monae, Brandi Carlile, Christine & the Queens, Big Red Machine, King Princess, Mitski, Snail Mail, Pale Waves and Imogen Heap.
With the right scheduling I could make a fun day out of this.
Needless to say, I'm pretty damn unhappy with the lineup, although thrilled that Hozier is in the lineup.
I do think, though, that there's plenty of interesting stuff below that ton of fertilizer that is the top line (OK, Tame Impala is good, but not headliner good) and with a fairly strong comedy lineup, I'll be getting a three day pass.
I’m laughing at the backlash for Michael Che that’s happening on social media for this, how can you live in Boston and NOT know how racist of a city it’s famous for being?

thats fine, hopefully those people sell their tickets for cheap
For real though that arena lineup does not fuck around and is one of the best parts of the poster. Hope the schedule works out for me to pop in there a couple times

I'm thinking a single-day pass for Tame Impala's day might be in my future. Drop two other names in those first two slots, and I would be all over this thing. As it is, I so dislike TOP and Travis that their being headliners - and BC's unopposed headliner schedule - keeps me from diving all the way in. But, oof, this undercard is SO MUCH BETTER than Governors Ball's.
