Not bad, replace Jenny Slate with Pete Davidson and it would be great (I had to toss my NYE Davidson ticket after having a huge lower-back pain flare up in late December.)
For real though that arena lineup does not fuck around and is one of the best parts of the poster. Hope the schedule works out for me to pop in there a couple times
I have yet to ever go into the arena, but this seems like it could be the year!

Each year I went I spent some time in the comedy arena. It was great. Nice rest and usually open seats. Hannibal Burress was amazing in there.

lol Jenny is infinitely better than Pete (who isn't funny)
Here, I fixed the billing cause holy shit some of these are billed way to high:

I’m laughing at the backlash for Michael Che that’s happening on social media for this, how can you live in Boston and NOT know how racist of a city it’s famous for being?
The greater Boston area consists of more than the racist townie tropes fetishized by Dennis Lehane and Ben Affleck.
Painting everyone who lives inside Rt. 128 with that same brush, as Che does, is BS.

jenny is hilarious
As a comedic actress, sure, but I can easily think of 50 stand-up comics who would be better suited for that spot.

Boston is one of the most racist cities in the country, and has some of the worst segregation of neighborhoods and schools. If you feel guilty when someone points that out, that’s on YOU.

He was on stage razzing the crowd and doing a bit. I'm sure he doesn't think the stereotype is 100% accurate for everyone inside 128.... you of all people should understand this.

Jenny Slate is a great comedic actress and sketch performer, while Davidson is out of his depth in SNL sketches. But his stand-up is great.
On another note, anyone know when single-day passes went on sale last year?
last year was 2 weeks after the full 3day announcement, but that felt faster than normal, so it's hard to predict with this. Probably 2-4 weeks from now..?

I don't feel guilty, I feel like you're defining an entire metropolitan area by a particular stereotype propagated in literature/TV/movies which is a spot on description of particular neighborhoods, but doesn't begin to capture the variety of life here. It's the immense diversity on every level here, that makes the Boston area a vibrant and special place.
Why do you insist upon defining the area by a handful of drunk guys in Bruins jerseys, and not, say, the ton of authors, artists, scientists, and tech visionaries who live in the area?
also whoever is Sheck Wes' agaent must be godly to convince BC to put that joker on the same line as Janelle Monae
I don't know what a Sheck Wes is, but yeah.... how is it so high up? Literally never heard of he/she/they(?) before. Surprised Janelle isn't higher, but not mad because if she's earlier in the day then there will be fewer people there.
He's a Soundcloud rapper whose hit 'Mo Bomba' is massive right now. it's a freestyle written in like 30 mins, then the computer crashed but they kept it in the song. My biggest issue with it is- in 6 months- is he REALLY gonna still warrant such a big billing?

Solid undercard with a ton of garbage at the top. Florence instead of Twenty One Pilots would have made this a lot better headliner-wise, I’m not sure if that second line is salvageable other than Paak.

Why do you insist on believing that acknowledging Boston’s long and storied racist past somehow negates the non-racist history?

Tame Impala is sick, and seeing Travis Scott at a festival where everybody can go H.A.M. is better than seeing him in an arena where the general admission floor costs an average of $200.
The undercard is solid as always (Imogen Heap in the arena setting being the coolest booking, given that tickets for her shows elsewhere in the country are going for $60). But all things considered, no regrets that I'll be out of the country this weekend as part of my Primavera Sound adventure.

That Mo Bomba song is the equivalent of any of us attempting to rap in the shower, where nobody can hear us sprinkle the N-word throughout.
this is my second favorite behind Skaky Knees of the U.S. fests. and that's with those weakass headliners. In my world, Black Star and Janelle Monae should be top six on that thing. It's unfortunate timing for me though, as I'll be on the west coast that weekend.
So with this, Tame will be in the U.S. from mid-April to end of May, with revealed bookings of Coach, Shaky and BC. I assume a proper tour will be fleshed out between those right?
And Black Star pops up on something other than that random appearance on the Summer Camp lineup. God I hope I get to catch them somewhere.

Watch this and now we know what to expect from a..*top quality* performer such as mr Wes
Seriously? You must be a troll and please stop or just go to Shaky Knees thread.
Seriously? Do you really think this guy's voice is on par with what we've come to expect from a good Britpop singer in the last 25 years? The band's pretty decent, but the guy isn't in the same league as Gallagher (either one) or Albarn, or the singers from Catfish and the Bottlemen or SWAY.

Hands-down one of the best undercards of any lineup, but it’s still the headliners that justify the ticket price for me. I’ll be in for whichever day Tame Impala is on and hope for a solid undercard that day.
