When does the daily, or stage lineups come out typically?
It seems a lock that Tame will close the Other against Stormzy which is amazing
I dont think there's a definite release date, I heard that it usually early June. Also, lots of chatter that the surprise sets are Mark Ronson and Arcade Fire this year.

Arcade Fire aint happening I'm afraid! And yeah, early June for the full lineup with times probably. Smaller drops here and there based around the different areas of the festival starting in a couple of weeks or so.

I was gonna say, if Osheaga couldn't land them for a hometown one off, neither could glasto
Killers (Pyramid) Chemical Brothers (Other) Wu Tang Clan (West Holts) Hot Chip (Park) Jon Hopkins (John Peel)
They're your Saturday night main stage options. The only one that might not be right is Hopkins, he might be doing the sunset slot somewhere else, but he's defo Saturday.
Out of those, as much as I wanna see Chemical Brothers, I've got to see Hot Chip, I love em, the atmosphere will be perfect, and I've wanted to see a Park headliner for a while now. Depends what my friends do too, and, er, if I get a ticket...

God damn..
Might just run around and split Chems/Killers.. Catch as much as Hot Chip too depending on start and end times.

You don’t understand. There is no running from one stage to another. This place is so god damn big and crowded the show will be over by the time you get there.
lol!!! I need to drill that into my head because that's all I do at Coachella but I know that will not be possible at Glasto. (For that reason I'm not even gonna bother doing any lineup research. )

This was made some years ago, and some routes may have altered slightly, and Arcadia has moved, but it gives you an idea. Slash a few minutes off if conditions are good and you're booking it, double the time if it's muddy & crowded, that sort of thing.
The first time I went, I used Clashfinder to help me plan things. I used a 1-4 system where I gave 4 colours to artists I had to see at all costs and plan my day around, down to 1 for those I might see if I was in the area, or a friend wanted to see them. I think a good decider if you're trying to figure which headliners to watch is to try for a different stage's headliner each night.
But yeah, if there's a bit of time available where there's no-one you definitely want to see, go to an area you haven't been yet, take an almost hidden path off to a side just to see where it goes, that sort of thing. On that note, force yourself to collect things into a bag and get up and moving as early in the day as you can. The less time you're at your tent/accommodation, the more you're in the festival itself, and that time is precious. You can always lay down somewhere chilled out once you're out and about.
edit: But at the same time, do whatever the hell you like, I'm not your Glastonbury dad.

This new Chemical Brothers record is really something so far
Also, Avalon lineup just came out - Id post it here but I don't internet very well. Lots of good stuff on there, including as band from my hometown! Bit of a shocker but very cool
Mumford & Sons have been known to make surprise appearances round here. I caught them doing some Rolling Stones covers with Haim when walking past the Avalon Cafe in 2014.
Announcements coming in fast now it seems. Not long til my resale day of reckoning.
Looks like Macca for the 50th next year. No shocker there but Michael Eavis said in an interview that he's probably there.
Cap'n Mac and I were just talking about this. We’re planning a late euro-trip honeymoon next year and we’re considering making Glasto part of that. Macca headlining would make it an absolute must.
2019 map is up on the site...also, Bananarama and Morcheeba in the Avalon Fields being added, nice!
Found 2017 map but not 2019?
Click the 2017 map and it brings up 2019...only changes I've noticed so far are The Pier being added by the Park and Block9 doubling in size with Glasto Latino being moved to make room.

Weird - still not working for me. Just shows 2017. Link me?

Yeah, pretty much it.
It will get updated as more detailed changes are fine tuned, such as Silver Hayes' re-jig, and whatever the hell Arcadia have come up with to replace the spider.
