Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Can you walk in and out of The Temple at anytime or is it a micro venue with a queue?
The latter, although it was enlarged last festival.
Two new stages in The Common area then, and with Block 9 greatly expanding, and Shangri-La always evolving, the South East corner is going to feel new and refreshed this year.
2 coming from NY...doing 4 days in Berlin before, arriving to London on Mon afternoon and taking the coach from London (O2 Arena) on Wednesday at 3:30.

2! But we’re staying with a group of about 6 ! They’ve been to Glasto a ton of times so we’ll be camping with them. Glad to be staying with some veterans who can show me the ropes
I’ve been twice. Tipis one year and Yurtel one year. Never had general camping FOMO. I’ve camped at Coachella and Sasquatch, and it’s fun no doubt. But at Glasto you can still easily hang out in the campsites and meet people any time of the day. Just coming from the US a day or two before the festival makes general camping such a pain.
About to cancel our Worthy View reservation (deadline's Fri) in favor of general camping but having cold feet. Am I doing it right??
When I went a few years ago I spent zero time hanging out at our camping spot. That being said, I think the main reason to camp worthy view is to reduce the amount of camping gear you have to pack and haul over to the UK on a plane. Maybe prepack your trip and see if you need worthyview.
Some of the Shangri-La lineups just dropped...Bicep, Gojira, The Damned, and Denzel Curry are all doing shows in Shangri-La. Also, looks to be a bunch of new micro venues this year, as well as a naked photo booth ha.
Also, just noticed there’s a Keith Flint Appreciation Hour in Shangri-La this year, looks like a DJ set from a former Prodigy member.
Thanks everyone. Glasto Chat on FB (seemingly a wilder bunch) overwhelmingly recommends general while Reddit overwhelmingly recommends WV lol.
ameeps - we're flying to London about a week before and road tripping around before ending up in Bristol on the Tuesday. Planning on picking up camping gear then.
hookersnblow - pretty sure WV only provides our scout tent, so we'd still need to bring everything else. But we'd probably appreciate the showers and other facilities.
We were looking at Lime Kiln or a "quieter" area for general camping, which is also closer to the coach dropoff. Argh, IDK. (If anyone has any feedback feel free to just PM me)

When we went to Glastonbury we flew out with all our camping gear. We flew in to Amsterdam, took the train to London, then spent 5 days doing the tourist thing there. Consequently, we had to pack quite a bit of extra stuff for the touring leg of our trip. If you are bringing your own gear in, may I suggest booking a room for the day of your return to Bristol from Glastonbury. You probably won't want to immediately turn around and try to catch a plane the day after Glastonbury PLUS you can have that hotel hold a bag or two for you while you are at Glastonbury.
My #1 overall suggestion for Glastonbury is to buy high quality, water-proof hiking boots. It's probably going to be muddy and you don't want to hike 10 miles a day for 4-5 days in the stupid rain boots the kids you see there are typically wearing.
Here's a movie about the late night areas of Glastonbury, circa 2011, coinciding with the Shangri-La announcement I guess. I'd hoped to post this in the wake of getting tickets, feeling all happy... I am distraught... but it's still very good!
