i know it seems funny, but remember this is Abe in his prime.
What four? The only ones I would have thought were novelty sets within the meaning of the limitation rule would be R. Kelly and GY!BE.
The first four in Special Performances section of his poster. He admitted before that he tried to sneak them in. I might be wrong.
Yeah, I dunno. Personally, I don’t view the Nightman Cometh performance or the Buffalo Bill show as novelty sets, but I might be reading that rule in a more limited way than it was intended. I can see where adding the episode premiere adds some question to that one, but that really seems to me more like an eligibility issue than an issue of whether it’s a novelty set.

I didn't see them as novelty sets either. I get the argument on ASIP but the Buffalo Bill thing is a variety show, isn't it?

Hey I should have brought this up earlier but I'm gonna be at work and then doing a fantasy draft from work when I get off, most likely on my phone. If anyone from tomorrow can trade with me, I have the whole day off (aside from another fantasy draft in the evening but whatever).

I double checked and it was his NMH set he had as "performing...". It's not listed like that anymore. So never mind.

Just to get ahead of something, I wanted to mention that the following acts on my lineup will not have their own solo show. They were only acquired to put together the "U Don't Know this Just Blaze and Jay-Z Superjam."
Jay-Z and R Kelly
Just Blaze (well the superjam is basically his showcase)
Beanie Sigel
Freeway
Fabolous
Diplomats
Slaughterhouse
Erick Sermon
Jay Electronica
At some point during this draft, I realized that peak Just Blaze is actually my favorite sound in hip-hop. He isn't better or more diverse than Dre and Kanye overall, but if I was looking one specific style, I think I just barely prefer the aggressive JB bangers of the 00s to soulful Kanye. The setlist will look something like this.
1. P.S.A. (Jay-Z)
2. December 4th (Jay-Z)
3. Dear Summer (Jay-Z)
4. Breathe (Fabolous)
5. Oh boy (Cam’Ron, Juelz Santana)
6. I Really Mean it (The Diplomats)
7. Built This City (Diplomats)
8. Exhibit A (Jay Electronica)
9. Exhibit C (Jay Electronica)
10. The Champ (Ghostface Killah)
11. Roc the Mic (Beanie Sigel, Freeway)
12. What We Do (Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Jay-Z)
13. Who Want What (Beanie Sigel)
14. React (Redman, Erick Sermon)
15. Battle Cry (Joell Ortiz)
16. Pump It Up (Joe Budden)
17. Off With His Head (Big Pun)
18. King Back (TI)
19. Live Your Life (TI)
20. Girls, Girls Girls (Jay-Z)
21. Ignorant Shiz (Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel)
22. American Gangster (Jay-Z)
23. Song Cry (Jay Z)
24. Dynasty Intro (Jay-Z)
25. U Don’t Know (Jay-Z)
26. U Don’t Know Remix (Jay-Z, MOP)
I still have a MASSIVE amount of hip-hop on my lineup, but its 9 acts less than it would appear before seeing my poster.
