I know they were on the Farm recently, but Mandolin Orange announced a tour for their new album in the winter/spring with no TN date. They play a show at Cumberland Caverns in December but i don't think that would conflict?

Also, multiple people on Reddit the past couple of days are claiming to have talked to Mac Demarco after shows, and that he's confirmed he will be playing Roo (It's Reddit so take it for what you will).
The question is - how high would Mac Demarco be billed now? He was way down the poster back in 2015, and played Thursday. I’d assume he warrants a much higher placement now, but also I don’t know that he’s blown up much more. Still has the same devoted following.

Yeah. Mac is a fool but he has a lot of real guy charm and even cross appeal to people who maybe wouldn’t be super into his music but like it enough to go see what he’s going to pull off (maybe literally). I’ve grown to like him and would see him at roo. I think he could get 7 or 8 or he could be as low as 10 or 11.
Liking many of the HL rumors (FF, Phish), I’ll go back to Bonnaroo if the upper mid has Sigur Ros. My favorite show and crowd at 15 was the sort of late night STS9 set. In 2012, the overnight UM was high up there. So a late night Lotus/Lettuce/Tribe or UM would be a big plus. But yeah. I have little intention of going but will commit to doing it if Sigur Ros is there.
I'll take the "one dollar" bid and put Demarco at 9 or higher.
He was 16th at OSL and 4th at Tropicalia (behind Kali Uchis). Both of these fests are in California too, where I imagine he's a bigger draw. Of course billing can change, but I think he's just about peaked in popularity with a smaller, devoted fanbase rather than a larger one that'll put him in the top 10.
I'll take your bet though, but if you're right, we pit for Phish together. If I'm right, we sit at my camp and eat dry Raisin Bran and drink lukewarm Bud Light during Phish.
Mac would be in the 15-20 range, imo. Could *maybe* sneak a little higher (though I don’t think he should), but sure as hell isnt top 10 material, even with a weaker lineup overall.

2015 was my favorite Thursday night. We had Mac Demarco, Courtney Barnett, The Growlers, Jungle, Gramatik, Glass Animals, Temples, Dopapod, Benjamin Booker ect.
2014 was also insanely fun. I saw Hannibal Burres, ran over to Cloud Nothings for one of the funnest moshpits I've ever been in, then Pusha T put on a pretty memorable show. I still watch this video every few months

kacey musgraves last played roo in 15 doing 3 nights at the ryman in feb. clear of radius claus by june ? would prob be a top 15 billed act? sheryl crow slot ?
FIDLAR got added to Shaky Knees, so that could be possible and great! Jim James was also added-does this detract from the possibility of MMJ making the lineup?
