Ive seen both T Pain and Akon live and they both sucked. Would still be cool if either showed up this year for the LI show that I probably wont end up being at.
T Pain was there last year and the show was fucking packed. I missed a good deal but by the time I made it over only comfortable spot to watch was back by tents selling stuff way back of that tent. I feel like a late night Akon set would be kinda cool on which but maybe that's just me
He did in 2008 with Eugene hutz and they played Tom Waits songs.
They went on super late,Gogol Bordello was late getting there, wicked thunderstorms if I remember correctly ? Kirk Hammet joined them after Widespread Panic.
Hope so. I was so out of it during their set in 2013. Waited 14 hours to get rail for Paul, stayed up all night with petty lights, and then for some decided it was a good idea to go back down to centeroo at noon to see Clockwork (an RL grime side project). By the time death grips came on I was a shell of myself. That's when I learned to pace myself.

It's weird to hear Clockwork called an RL Grime side project haha. RL Grime was originally the side project, and then trap blew up. I don't think he's played a Clockwork set in a long time.

Right, I know this. But was just easier to say RL grime side project. You're right seems so long ago.

Assuming that lineup going around on Reddit was correct, I’m sure hoping that the remaining lineup that they didn’t include has some great undercard because only a few of the artists they listed actually appeal to me. Come tomorrow, I’m really hoping to see: HalfNoise Turnstile Rainbow Kitten Surprise SWMRS Bad Bad Hats Foster The People AWOLNATION The Front Bottoms Tigers Jaw WALK THE MOON Current Joys Now, Now Flora Cash Son Lux La Dispute Hobo Johnson and the Lovemakers Slaughter Beach, Dog (would love a MOBO reunion but I’ll take what I can get) Bad Suns

I know I’m in the minority here, but I would love AWOLNATION to return. However I don’t think it’ll happen this year.
I know this is a smaller act, but Nicole Atkins has played with JRAD the last two times they were in Nashville. She would be an awesome addition if she's available.
