Anyone know when the lineup tends to drop for this. Is it worth going to? I moved to Toronto from the UK and now that I am not going to Coachella for the first time in years, I need an alternative.

Usually Mid March. The 13th last year I think
Sweet. How is it as a festival? Last years lineup looked solid.

Probably my favourite city fest I've been to. Crowd is great, lineup is always strong, Montreal is a great city. I definitely recommend checking it out!
Only negative is having to take 2 trains to get to and from. Getting back when the whole fest is leaving to go the same way is tough but 2 of the 3 nights we managed pretty ok. Easily the friendliest staff and crowd I have been around at a fest. Its possible I go back but its all lineup dependent these days.
All good to hear. Ive never been to Montreal so depending on the line up I could do a weekend ticket or a day ticket and take in some of the city. Given lack of NIN tours this year here , I am praying for them.

Sounds like a new hip-hop and rap festival called Métro Métro is coming to the Olympic Stadium in May. I think they want to be like the Rolling Loud fests.

do we know for a fact if this will be returning to its original site?
Yes it will but it might be delayed. It’s possible they’ll be doing it at the temporary site again this year
77', Heavy Montreal and Ile Soniq have all announced that they will be back to the original site. So it's pretty safe to say now that the old (newly revamped) site will be ready.

Montreal date in late May. they seem very likely for lolla though since they have no chicago date
They did play Chicago on this tour too, I guess it was a couple months ago as opposed to a couple months from now. Seems like Lolla would be more likely than Osheaga but I could see them doing both still if in the area.
What are the best bars/clubs near Boxotel(turns out im staying there after all)? Right near MTELUS if that helps
Foufones is a great punk/metal bar pretty much beside Metropolis (MTelus). It has an amazing patio and very cheap drinks. For something a bit more upscale but still casual, there is Midway around the corner on St Laurent (right beside Club Soda). There is also the St Elizabeth pub (on St Elizabeth + St Catherine). It's a pub with a great court yard area.
In that area you can wonder over to rue St Denis (only a couple blocks away) and there are many bars and restos.
Could end up playing at the start of this tour? Maybe even just Noel since I don't know if they would be interested in booking SP. Who knows but could be raad
