Strokes are at Lolla same weekend. Are they allowed to have all 3 headliners cross over?
Yes, that was the case in 2016.
Good to know!
Really wish someone would do the noble thing and leak this or Outside Lands, it's a slow morning right now and I'm v curious even though it literally drops in a couple hours

I'm hope the final headliner is Jay-z or Arcade Fire. Since this is their return to the original site I feel like they want the lineup to make a splash

Hope Im right cause I want to go this year.
as long as lumineers aren't headlining i'm set. Really hope Flume plays this thing.

Wouldnt be too surprising. Hes been there in the past, I think 3 years ago. Missed him for someone else unfortunately so I hope hes there too!
Did they mention a capacity increase with the move back to the original site?
I remember seeing something about a 20k increase on the sub. That would explain how they could get bigger headliners(assuming) while keeping the price at only 325 cad. Pretty unbelievable that this fest is cheaper than BC and Gov Ball and always is better.

Maybe i'm in the minority (seems like it) but i've been once to each site, 2014 and 2017, and actually preferred the temp site in 2017. Shorter walking distance end to end made for easier travel between stages, the water electronic stage was so cool and unique, the smallest stage was much more legit in 2017 than the weird little tent thing at the original site when i went in 2014, and i definitely prefer the main stages facing each other rather than side by side, as it spreads the crowd out and makes it easier to get a decent spot without being smushed. I'm curious to see the renovated new site for sure, but i'm skeptical. Adding more capacity seems like the only thing they did and that's a negative to me. The main reason i've been to this twice over other festivals is because it's smaller crowds than the huge major ones.

i got stuck during khalid, post malone, and florence.. with nowhere to go.. that was really the only problem area, crowd wise.. but it was a big one
I don't think Tame vs. Gambino is a lock. They've been touting the return to the side-by-side main stages for a while now in the lead up to line up drop... so hopefully Tame is just subbing before Childish, and we all win.
Edit: As an aside, I've been wanting to see Chemical Brothers for so long, based on that alone this is a lock for me. But I think the undercard is damn nice too. Maybe that puts me in the minority?

I love it personally. Flume on the lumineers day is PERFECT. I can just go to clubs after his set.
