Did anyone else feel like Eli’s face was cgi’ed to look younger in the last ep? It was barely noticeable but sometimes it looked a lil strange
he did look younger, but i couldn't tell if it was CGI. maybe it was makeup or pretty good CGI?
the episode did show once again how great of an actor john goodman is. you can tell as a younger person he seems more confident and lighter on his feet.
would love to see young edi get a guest star emmy nom or something, she was great.

This show feels kinda rudderless this season. Haven't really been into it. I like the Steve Zahn groyper-type character and I thought that was an interesting direction, but overall it feels like we're going in circles. The first episode felt like a pilot. Last season was pretty meh and ended strong, so hopefully it picks up a bit.
Can someone explain how the Montgomery cult thing is able to go back to the same location after being raided? Seems kinda crazy they’re just able to return to the same location with a ton of the same equipment.

They also didn't seem especially concerned about where they would go or what they would do once they murdered one of the Gemstones. The ones who suggested it, anyway.
Watching BJ accept Keefe as one of the family def pulled some emotions out of me. They've been building this storyline for a long time and it's one of my favorite's on television rn.
I was curious if they would pick it up. They ended it in a way that they could just end it.
I don’t know anything about television production but they could’ve not known if they were getting renewed for S4 at the end of filming S3. If they got canceled, it would’ve been a nice ending.
This season left some important scenes on the table. I feel like their first sermon back after being kidnapped could’ve been a big moment but there’s almost no airtime of them actually preaching and doing the jobs the whole show is centered around.
