The first one caught me off guard enough to where I almost rewound it to make sure I heard it right.

I think I'd agree with the general consensus that S1 was better but wow do I love this show. I think there's been at least one line per episode that had me in tears.
That line had my wife falling off the couch laughing. Had to pause it. Goggins is so good.

The part where Lyle puts his wife in the box and throws her off the balcony to recreate the western they were watching was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.
Though I’m kind of disappointed in the wrapped in a bow ending.
the girlfriend and i watched the first 2 eps tonight after i’ve seen a lot of praise about the second season and i’m hooked.
thought it was p great from the get go but she was a little skeptical until that last scene of the first ep and her jaw dropped then she looked at me and asked to keep watching lol
I love how close it is to Succession in structure (three children figure out how to take over the family business from an iconic father) while being a wildly different thing.

I know I'm out on a ledge here but I hope this season is better than s2. I was very disappointed by it. Need more original music from Amy Leigh and uncle baby billy.
