I think I'm going. But, I may have a full mental breakdown if they put either of James Blake or Thom versus the Cure.

i would feel pretty safe that they wouldn't do that.
I hope not, I've only been once, but thought I remembered them putting midstage night acts during the headliners, like M83, but I also waited all day for Radiohead, so it may have not actually been a conflict.

JUICY JAY would you mind adding the lineup to the OP and/or updating with who is going to which weekend? or Dad Dog or piggy pablo since y'all are the next two posters. It would just make it easier for me to know who to avoid in Austin, thanks.

ha yeah, they do a good job of having the home away/miller lite(?) stages off set with the headliners.

Is this the first major NA fest to book The Comet is Coming? I would love to see more fests book modern UK jazz, there’s a great scene over there that’s almost entirely ignored in America.

So was trying to get GA+ w1 tix and those sold out so fast i took it as a sign the universe does want me there w2 and to see Denzel luckily talked to work and rearranged some things and am officially in for w2!! Can’t wait for my first ACL!

Yeah I don't think too many people here on stoked on either of those, but they don't ruin a stacked lineup for me. This festival has opposed headliners, so it doesn't matter all that much in the end that they got Mumford when the other headliners are good.
Guess Im in the minority that really doesn't care for this line-up.
Its really LAZY to book a band that JUST headlined in 2016.
And Billie fucking Ellish getting a booking above Tame and Robyn....after one fucking album.
Give me a break.
I don't think anyone here's gonna disagree with those two observations. But since ACL does opposing headliners, I think we'll all be able to see someone we want to every night, even if you don't care what's on the other side of the park. And Billie seems poised to get the National treatment where she's billed in the headliner font, but ends up playing a 6pm main stage slot. Her poster placement seems like it's more to sell tickets to teenagers than anything, since that demographic won't exactly be chomping at the bit for GNR, The Cure, or even Mumford.
This is Line up of the year for me and it’s not close
Guns and roses is my number one bucket list band. And that the cure is definitely top five. Mumford is a good time and I really hope they do not conflict with the other two
The raconteurs and Gary Clark Junior plus some other stuff in the undercard like black pistol fire. I’m absolutely flying in for this thing. And I may do two weekends

yeah last time they were here they were during LCD so even if i had done all three days in '16 i still wouldn't have seen them. means nothing to me that they're on the bill. if anything it means doper spot, closer to the exit, for cure.

Man, I'd love to see the cure at ACL again but compared to the other years I've gone I can't justify traveling from California without the undercard that 2013, 2014, and 2018 had. Plus, i already have passes to Desert Daze and ACL weekend 2 has the only exclusives I'd be interested in except for the kooks.
