Weird that Kat Dahlia is so low. Based off YouTube viewership she's the second-biggest artist of the day after Mumford. One song has 51M views. Not really my thing, but she might be opening a main stage and just generally blowing up.

That song was 6 years ago.
Touché. Lol. That makes more sense, for sure.
Still kinda weird to be behind stuff with like Kady Rain with 28K views on her most popular song, which was a year ago. Kat Dahlia has songs from two years ago with 1.8M, too, but she's last on her day, ahead of local Austin stuff like the "Gospel All-Stars" and School of Rock.
had the pleasure of catching Sir Paul for the second time last night. I don't know how G'n'R will be able to top Paul's live version of "Live and Let Die" and from researching, it sounds like they haven't been able to do so.
Are you familiar with the Guns N’ Roses version of “Live and Let Die”? They played it at MetLife two weeks before you got there (but your pyro was much more explosive).
"It’s funny, because when their version came out, my kids were in school, and they had a lot of defending to do, because all the kids said, “Great song, ‘Live and Let Die!’” They said, “My dad did that!” “No way, it’s Guns N’ Roses!” I was happy they did it. I thought it was a nice little nod. I’m glad to hear our pyro is bigger and better."
I feel like A.C.L. will bring out the technics though, they have loved doing fireworks the last several.
Either way, I plan to be on the Tame Impala side. Gimme tha lazerz.
I predict it'll be
G'n'R - 8-10PM Impala - 8-9:30PM

For those who have been is there a pit at the stages like Roo or is it stage where you camp out all day at the front of the stage?
The latter, although the last time I went (2016), there was a special Samsung pit for Samsung Galaxy owners. You know, typical C3 sponsorship bullshit.

Fans with McCartney t-shirts were at the rails from the time the park opened the day he played. It is super easy to get close to the front of the stages until around 7 when the bigger acts start playing. I railed at one stage for Sturgill > Father John Misty > Modest Mouse. The Deadmau5 fans that were holding their spot the entire day at that rail were not happy with that trio of acts. I left after MM and still got really close for TV On The Radio.

My wife’s favorite is Mumford so trying to figure out how long to camp for their headlining set

I'd suspect Musgraves is before M&S and she'll have a huge crowd being from the area, so I'd say you'd have to camp the main stage by 6PM.

Yeah, while I feel like Mumford and Robyn will have a fairly even crowd split, Kacey's gonna have a bigger crowd than both headliners that night. So a good chunk will stay for Mumford. Grab dinner early.
EDIT: Unless you're going weekend 1, where I feel like Cardi will outdraw Mumford. Either way, brace for a massive Kacey crowd.

For Mumford’s 2015 Roo set we camped for 10 hours. For their 16 Firefly set we camped for 9. I figure we get there and hour before Kaceys set (really hope she opens as missed her Roo set) and it will be good! If need to be there earlier I’ve done it before haha

Brittany is a cool add. Bermuda Triangle was a good show, and from what I've seen from Thunderbitch that would also be fun. I imagine this set will be somewhere in the middle, and probably closer to Shakes.

Was unaware Brittany had solo material (upon quick research, seems she just announced her debut this morning) but I'll definitely check her set out. Saturday undercard is really beefy now.
And I always confuse The Japanese House with Japanese Breakfast.

I'm thinking about coming to this for Robyn (and a lot of others but she's the big pull for me). So many names I was hoping for Bonnaroo next year are on this lineup, I'm super intrigued.
Very seriously considering this (weekend 2, will be my first fest since Shaky Knees some years ago). I’m a lazy, bad current music fan... so if you know my tastes through the now playing thread or elsewhere, are there any undercard acts I should look into? This is one of very few festsI’ve seen in the last few years that I’d go see most if not all of the top lines. I’m trying to work my way through the undercard and acts such as Idles and Gogo Penguin have really stood out, and I know there’s a lot more there. I’m actually really looking forward to the Bruce Hornsby set as his most recent album is amazing.

Bank Izzard Hopefully they put them on in the evening. They are such a mindblowingly good and unique act blending a lot of good styles into a heavy show.
Since I was in Panama City when the lineup dropped, I haven’t been paying much attention plus I had Bonnaroo on the mind. Also check out Black Pistol Fire on Friday. They put on a bananas live show. I guess as it is now for weekend 1, I’m seeing schedule permitting:
Friday: The Comet Is Coming*, Black Pistol Fire*, Kaytranada*, Troyboi*, Thom Yorke*, The Raconteurs*, Tame*, Guns N Roses (obviously split sets late)
Saturday: Tierra Whack, Brittany*, Kali Uchis, GCJr*, James Blake*, The Cure*
Sunday: Caamp*, Bruce Hornsby, Rebelution*, Lizzo*, Kacey*, ?
Pretty okay but for me Friday is the best day by a long way even though it’s reruns for me.

give the comet is coming a try.
Not knowing that a band name is in that sentence is truly a mind fuck.
